For the most part everyone uses it and I saw there was a "365" option, but I don't see the point in renewing it every year. I use word for school a lot, and power point on occasion. Even when i'm not in school I use word for my resume's and other docs I may need to type up. I personally don't have a need to have it updated every year so for my use it's perfect.
