    Word is a good program (but I like WordPerfect better). Excel has been my choice for a spreadsheet and Powerpoint for presentations from their inception in Windows. My major gripe is that Microsoft has limited the license for the home and student version to just one computer, unlike the license for Office 2010 which was for three computers. Thus, I installed the program only on my new desktop and kept the older version on my own and wife's laptops.
