Posted .Hello Steve, Office 2016 is installed directly to your PC just like traditional Office and you do not need an internet connection to use it. The only difference is you install it by downloading it directly from Microsoft instead of using a CD. We hope this was helpful to you.

I had my old, “ jimmied” computer for 6 years... now I feel like I’m reinventing everything. I liked my old stuff as I knew how to use it & all the short-cuts. Now I have to learn a new computer, new software, new printer/fax & scanner. I can feel a melt-down coming!! Hope you are better at this stuff than I am ! Good luck!
