I saved $30 by purchasing it at the same time as my computer. I am pleased with my purchase as I prefer to have this program downloaded on my computer as opposed to a yearly subscription.

You gotta have Word

It works differently than Word 2007, but I really don't see that much improvement over the old one. Still a great program, and if one knows how it all works, can be used to make so many fine finished products.

The program is complex and diverse, important marketing points I suppose, but it complicates efforts to do simple tasks quickly. I often spend more time trying to understand and choose options than I do on the actual task. Thank goodness they aren't designing freeway signs or fire extinguishers.
