Software hard to download

office home & student 2016

I have been happy with office in the past so I am sure that will be the same. I did have issues with installation & not happy with having someone offsite logging onto my computer. Microsoft, I do not like that idea, especially since someone calls you back to set this up. I called Geek Squad and they took care of me.

Learning Curve

Needless to say, there are a lot of changes in those years and it will take me some time to learn the ins and outs of the macros, etc. of the new Software package! The programs are great tho with tutorials built right into them which helps a lot!

It's Office, and the newest version

Outside of a minor Outlook issue that I'm not thrilled with, it's the next best version of Office. The outlook thing I speak of is the autoconfiguration issue where you cannot MANUALLY configure an Exchange account. It has to be set up with AutoDiscover or it won't work.

Buying the Product Key version avoids the trap of paying annually for the product, when each update (other than security) usually adds little more than bells and whistles the average user won't find uses form
