You don't get the features that you'd get with the subscription (sharing files, online storage, etc) but if you're like me and don't need those fancy futuristic (seriously!) features then this is the way to go. Not much to say. Great product!

Buying the Product Key version avoids the trap of paying annually for the product, when each update (other than security) usually adds little more than bells and whistles the average user won't find uses form

To be honest, I am not anxious to find out how they have changed it on Windows 10. I am a retired English composition teacher and I hope 'word' isn't too difficult to master because writing poetry, short stories and letters are calling me.

It was the better choice than Microsoft Personal because we not only could use it on more than one device but didn't have to worry about renewing after a year. Just keep the Product key to add to your devices.

Microsoft Office used to come included with older versions of Windows. I think the software is overpriced, especially since this is the third time I've had to buy it. I also feel that it should include Outlook.

Posted .Hello BillAnder1, When getting a new PC, you can take Office 2016 application software with you. If you need to transfer your copy Office Office 2016 from your old PC to your new one you are able without buying another copy. We appreciate your feedback and hope this was helpful to you.
