I rented Microsoft Office for my daughter, but I needed a copy for my new, fast computer. Templates are even buggier than ever, but with the speed of my new processor, I can finally edit old documents that were essentially impossible to change before.

I hate the fact that Microsoft tries to nickel and dime you into the whole cloud based programs, Either sell me the program outright or give it away, don't rent me programs. Especially the only program that you have worth owning. MS Office Cloud rentals suck

Needed if your old computer has hundreds of Word and Excel files. This is not like the 'old' Office Home and Student release where you could upgrade three (3) PC's. This release can only upgrade one (1) PC computer. I have to purchase another for my lap top. Good for Microsoft, bad for me!

I had a problem with Product Key Card, the issue was BestBuy computers did not communicate with Microsoft computer and would not download software. Product key finally worked after midnight. Office home and student works fine.

The product for a student should allow at least 2 PC due to the fact that most students have a computer at home and a laptop to carry for school. The cost is horrible for a student. Not economical.

I am still attempting to download this program and will then reach a decision.

Just as good as previous versions, but better since it is lifetime and not yearly. The only issue was that I was replacing my last subscription and it took a bit to convert my previous excel & word to this version ( but not a big deal)

Great product. Be careful scratching off the installation code on the back. I scratched too hard. I couldn't read it. I had to call tech support. Though cumbersome, they provided great service.

I bought this rather than the subscription because I wanted the option of having it always on my desktop and was unsure as to whether I could use it always if I bought the subscription. Program is the same as always with several updates to the interface, but otherwise more that appropriate for school

I purchase office because my husband and I have a business, and I thought I could use if for labels, and processing documents. If you don't know what your doing, it's not worth the money. I purchased the lifetime, and keep getting emails that my test time using office is almost over? what happened to LIFETIME???

I was really surprised that this required almost 2 hours to load onto the new computer that has been purchased. I'm very familiar with these features and have used them for years, so they appear to be a continuation of that use.

I had an old computer for which I needed advice. Geek Squad in the store was super helpful. I ended up purchasing a new hard drive and a new computer and am happy with both. (I have an excellent new computer and a solid backup)

MS Office is a "gotta have it" for me. The Best! Very difficult for me to make spreadsheets, write letters, create documents, etc, without MS Office. I've been using it for years, but I keep learning more with every new issue that becomes available.

I'm a professional writer who bought a laptop for just writing. I don't need distractions, and the subscription version of Office gets testy if it isn't constantly connected to the internet. This version is great if you need something basic and simple for the writer or student in the family.

It took me some time, but I now have this installed. During installing a message came up that there was an error and I should call Microsoft. The number given was a boiler room that only tried to sell me additional services. Don't be fooled.

I'm a diehard Office User, ever since I weened myself off WordPerfect and Borland SW years and years ago. I'm enjoying the newest edition of Office. Great new features and a seamless transition from my prior version of Office.

Love the Office package but I wish it included Publisher. Disappointed I had to buy this and what I was originally was an office package that I had to renew every year. Who wants to pay every year except the company that makes the software

It took Geek Squad three attempts to install this program on my new computer I had to make 3 trips to the store in several hours of my time. The last time they told me it was ready only to get to the store and find out that they have not installed it yet. lack of communication with the customer

I bought this for school. I didn't want a subscription so opted for the one time purchase. It installed fine but I don't like the fact that you have to have a Microsoft account to download it. The software itself is great! No issues.
