Even though this product is a stand-alone, I prefer it to the subscription version because the updates can make compatibility with other people when I produce Word docs more difficult.

If you have a computer, how can you function without MS Office? Finally updated my outdated tower - so getting a more current copy of Office is just the natural thing to due!

I've only used Word so far but it's great! It has all of the older templates along with a new APA format for writing papers. It has been a huge help and time saver for formatting.

it was my fault that I didn't notice Outlook wasn't included. I purchased Outlook separately, and all is fine. If you don't need Outlook then this is probably the route to go.

I like that the software is yours after you purchase it forever. It doesnt give the updates if there is a change in years to come but you can still look at it as a one time buy.

Decent option to buy software instead of a subscription, although preferred having CDs. Best Buy matched pricing which made it more reasonable. Would have preferred to have gotten Outlook and Publisher. with it as in the past.

I needed something simple for what I use the computer for. I do not stream or other current things. Simply needed a word and excel document profgram for the things I use my computer for.

New layout and added features add to Office's already great, versatile software. Offering a "download card" is a nice touch for those of us who do not have a optical drive on our PC.

Why can't I get a reduced feature version ... I don't know how to use all this capability! I think I pay too much but it is the standard.

MS Office Home and Student 2016 is the revised version of the previous versions of Office. The new changes or amendments are helping to editing process much more professionally.

This was installed by the Geek squad but never activated so neither word, or excel would work. I brought it back to the Geek Squad and Shane Fulford assisted me and got everything working.

purchased this for my new computer. not a fan of the price for a almost 3 year old version but needed the word program for my kids to be able to do school work.

I purchased this one because I wanted the basic office programs and I was very happy I was able to purchase it for more than one year a one time purchase is the best offer.

I made the mistake one year of buying the 3 licenses for one year BECAUSE I thought they quit selling the 1PC license that works indefinitely. This is the best way to go, in my opinoin.

Office is and never was the best product. This is no exception. However, since much of the world uses it, it makes compatibility a little (emphasis on "little") easier. The Apple suite is MUCH better, and so is the Word Perfect suite.

We initially had trouble activating it as Best Buy forgot to activate the key. We called Best Buy and they took care of the problem within 10 minutes. Great service!

Purchased for my husbands laptop. Sucks we have to buy these programs now in these days but if you need it, you’re gonna have to buy it. Works well for all his work stuff.

Seems like we always end up needing the Microsoft suite. Tried some of the other open offices and while very similar, school and work have trained me to easily find all the nuances.

I don't see the benefit of annual renewals. I just need Windows for basic use, don't foresee needing any upgrades, etc. I'm not used to Windows 10 but shouldn't take too long.
