this program is much like other office for windows

I love Microsoft Office products, but I feel that it has become highly overpriced. It should be much more affordable, especially for students. They offer a free version for tablets, so it should be way less to have it on a laptop. Just my opinion.

I have not been able to get this product installed. I login in to office.com/ Setup and I am told the product is not registered. No one answers on the service number and I have not been called back

What you leave out an email platform, this is for students and outside of office personnel that's the category that would use it the most. Email assignments etc. Outside of that it's your same old office with the same old problems.

Okay, I am older, but it is irritating to have to fight with a program! plus, i got home and realized it was the wrong one and I couldn't as to it, or exchange it for one with publisher without paying full price for publisher.

Could have sworn that the sales consultant said that it was for more than one computer, considering I also bought a laptop. Too late to take back. I need to make sure before purchasing that everything is read and not believe the sales consultant.

As with anything new or different it takes some getting used to. There are more options where you can save your documents. Hopefully that will make it easier to find them. Most of the "actions" (saving docs, split windows, etc) are the same.

Hard to install, won't print transferred files or new ones saved in the new office office documents, Free version would. Go on line for help, most want money, getting ready to scrap this & go back to my old computer, after getting a new one,.

I bought this because I bought a new computer and I didn't need the annual updates. I've installed it as instructed but it doesn't open up Word or Excel like I'm used to - it gives me a screen that won't let me use the programs.

I had to buy new Windows office software for my new computer. I chose the Office Home and Student version. It works well but I have to get used to this version since I was using a very old Windows Vista. Quite different.

For home use - Windows 10 stinks! --- Personally I would have preferred to have Windows 7 for home use to keep monthly payments, Tax records and simple photo albums. It would be nice to have had the option of installing Windows 7.

When I picked up my laptop, I was given no instruction on how to activate Office. I have been unable to find my way through all of the loops to get to the activation part. I feel this should have been done with me when I picked up my laptop.

Overall the product is good but I received incorrect information regarding my existing Office Lice from my old PC. I could have used it on my new laptop and not purchased Office 2016.

The instructions could be better for how to download cause they don't explain them very well and it will give you a error code and when it does it tells you how to. I think if it would tell you how better you could download easier.

Since the office suite is so common, it is a necessary to have it if you run a PC. I don't like the restrictive elements of online subscriptions, and additional charges on products such as Access, which used to be included in the suite.

Each time there's a new version of Office, it seems to get a little worse and less user friendly. Many features I learned and got to like in Windows 7 have just disappeared--no longer available. Wish I still had previous version.

This version of Office doesn't include Outlook, which was one of my primary needs. The BestBuy salesperson selected it and I didn't realize there was a difference in content. There's no way to add Outlook online or through support. You have to call a different sales line and go through several hoops to get it fixed. I dislike that it tries to get you to save everything to the online OneDrive. In Excel, the save popup box isn't the same as in Word and getting to the folders except for OneDrive is difficult.

Not sure why Microsoft makes you purchase its key applications and it’s not included in its operating systems like Apple? But it’s definitely something you need so I bought it!

Office has always been a great product, but for the price you pay, they really could've included Outlook or at least an abbreviated version so it would have an E-mail client

Disappointed that Microsoft went to a subscription service for this product. Makes updating a nightmare. But I guess they did it to make money on us. wish they would go back to the original product and updates.
