This software is tried and true and widely used so compatibility isn't usually an issue.

I should have saved my money and just used Google docs, sheets, & slides. You can get OneDrive and OneNote for free without this.

We're sorry to hear about your negative experience - that's not what we want for you. For future reference, if your purchase Office 2016, you only pay a one-time fee and, in turn, get Office for life. If you do want to switch over to a digital subscription, Office 365 is the way to go. So, based on the product you're reviewing, you only pay once. Product activation did not work
