Typical Office

After hours on the phone I was able to move my office software to my new machine and return this item (I held out and did not scratch off the code). If paying $100's for software it should not die with the machine. I own the rights to add it to a new machine , delete if from the old machine, contrary how MS tries to pigeonhole you into their agreement.
