I have used MS Office for many years and have always been impressed by the quality of the applications. I especially appreciate the backward and forward compatibility, as there are always people on a different version from the one you happen to be using. I have also found their download process to be simple and accurate, and their online support to be very good.

First, I have had many versions of Office over the years and have always enjoyed the software. That said, installing this version was a bit tricky. After entering the product key, downloading, and then installing the software it become "stuck" at 75% complete. I tried everything-from the control panel options to change or unintall it, reentered the product key to download it again etc-but nothing worked. The office icon in the tray said the software was running in the background and to not turn off or restart the computer (this is usually the 1st action I would take when something is wrong ) and after 2 hours with a Microsoft tech over the phone and online, that was all it took to complete the install. After all that waste of my time the software works great. So if running your install and stuck @ 75%, restart.

I've had the MS Office 365 since I purchased my first laptop, an HP Pavilion g7 Notebook going on 2 years ago. I like being able to have the option to install on up to 5 computers, or combination of PC"S, notebooks, tablets, etc. I can save my documents, pictures, you name it on the MS Onedrive cloud so that it's not taking up space on my hard drive so it's always backed up and doesn't slow down my computer speed. I never could afford the MS Office Suite software but this is a great option and it has everything and more than what I usually use. I like that I have the option of paying annually or paying monthly. I use mostly Word to write stories. I gave it a 4 only because some of the menu's are really different for Windows 8 and I got way used to Windows 7 and earlier versions. There is no option to select all when you are copying a document and it's a hassle to hold down and scroll the mouse to copy larger documents. Other than that it's great. If you don't already have this for your computer I really do recommend it.

Bought it for my Mother, who loves office. It is a great product, waited till it was on sale and bought it for her. This is one of the best office products out. Tried Open Office but found MS office easier to use.

Purchased Microsoft Office outright with laptop to secure bundled price discount and avoid future annual subscription fees. Had technical issue during initial software installation (registering software to my account) but Best Buy Geek Squad was able to fix issue for free as it occurred shortly after purchase. Software suite has been running reliably and smoothly for 5+ years ever since.

Easy install, easy to use. Windows 10 makes it harder to find on your desktop, but once you pin the frequently used programs, it's great.

My new ASUS, i7,HD, had FREE trial Office 2016 loaded. I did not want to use my credit card and download this Home/Student 2016 from MS Website. I went to our local BEST Buy and bought the product card w the MS Key on the back to scratch off. I went to MY account on MS website to install the product using the Key on the card. The download process went through some gyrations and received an"ERROR" msg saying my system is 64Bit and the Home/Student 2016 was for 32Bit. After some pondering, I UNINSTALLED the MS Office 2016 TRIAL that was put on my HD. Then I went back to MS INSTALL site and repeated my KEY nbrs......BANGO.....it took a little time to install, but okay. Word and Excel, are fine. I did not check out Power Point or OneNote. I am a HAPPY CAMPER!

I have used Office at work and am very familiar with how to use it, so decided to purchase it to put on my new computer. I like all the features of Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. Having access to all these programs allows me to be able to complete a variety of tasks.

I think everyone knows what they are getting with Microsoft Office at this point. This version doesn't require an annual subscription so I like it better than the 365

OK I Just Love IT it is fast to add to the Computer. it takes sum time to find the tools and things on the tool bare, but over all it is grate will do things I did not know. It has things I never use in a life time and I like them to take them out and ADD things we use more like email or front page I like to see it come back, But this is just clean and fun but hard at times to find things.

Easy to use menus, not a lot of changes in functionality, just easier to use

Needed it for personal and some business use. It makes sense to buy this outright instead of the 3 year lease.

Great software. Use it on a daily basis. Works great on my Mac. Prefer this to google docs. Will upgrade to next version too.

My inventory skills have been upgraded with this edition of Word 2016. The individual programs within this edition have made some tasks less problematic.
