I can pay once and I have it all the time. I would highly recommend this option if you are not looking for yearly subscription. This does not have outlook so beware.

Good upgrade of MicroSoft Office

Office for Windows - Really? in my particular case

I actually went into Best Buy to decide between purchasing a MacBook or a Surface. It just so happened that the manager of the store helped us decide. He went back to grab us the MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display, then handed us off to the typical Best Buy salesperson who doesn't know much about anything. The manager tells him we wanted Office and a printer (as we had already discussed that with the manager) and we were passed off. He quickly grabbed Office and walked us to the printer aisle - at which point I realized he had zero clue about printers, so thankfully I did my research before getting to the store and I simply told him exactly what I wanted and he proceeded to check us out. We get home with our $2,000+ purchase (MacBook, printer, & office) start setting up the MacBook and installing Office and low and behold what did he sell us -Office for Windows. Really? I had to leave the house, go back to the store, return Office for Windows and purchase Office for Mac. Huge inconvenience, with zero apologies. Of course, Office for Windows is great - if that is what you need:)

The ease of the set-up to my daughters PC was fast, simple, and easy to understand. We got a really good deal on it, and it will pretty much last til we have to upgrade.

Easy to use programs
