Purchased the MS Office Home and Student suite along with a Lenovo laptop for my son in college. He said it addresses all his needs and then some. Good value for the product.

I usually write in LibreOffice, but although compatibility with MSOffice formats is good, it's always great to have the real deal to test it on, too. This will work perfectly for any of your typing, powerpoints, or spreadsheet needs.

This Microsoft office home and student 2016 is a great product which includes word & PowerPoint. For the expense of this software it should be able to be used in multiple devices within one household as opposed to one PC only per purchase.

I have been an office user since the turn of the century and as far back as I can remember. I have used my own excel spreadsheets for financial records, medical, stock and tax records virtually all my life. I have spreadsheets I created in the early 90's or before. They have always upgraded without a problem, no matter how old they are or how many releases I have skipped before upgrading. Now that I am retired, this is really my main concern. Of course, I am happy with the layout, function and ease of use or I would have changed to something else years ago. My wife uses Word much more than I do, and she feels that the new release may be a little less intuitive than previous ones, but so far she is coping and learning enough to allow her to upgrade her church functions. Overall a good solid mature product.

Bought as a gift. Student edition will suffice for most (Word and Excel). Doesn’t include all programs and may have size/other limits but student version served be well in college

I like using these programs, but I wish Microsoft would stop changing formats. It's so hard to find things and I think they got rid of some options in their programming. While they still work great, I don't have time to take a class to figure out where they moved everything and why some things are missing or just really hidden. But, at the end of the day, it gets the work done.

This was the perfect mash up of everything needed for the new computer we bought. Very simple to use and comes with more than enough features for us.

It's older version but was a very good product at the time of use much more modern versions are now available. Currently being used on an older model laptop with no issues.

I had to buy a new computer, so of course you get the latest Office product. I had Office 2013 on my other computer, and so far I haven't noticed much of a difference.I'm fairly happy about that, as I don't like when they make huge changes to a program (Excel) I've worked with for years.

works, little errors, few items are grayed out. OK for home use

Works for what I need it for and for my kids to use for school.

Office is the only product of Microsoft that I still use, but it's also what they do the best work with. It's industry standard, so no reason to try something else. Thanks for the great deal Best Buy!

If you have liked MS office in the past, then this is perfectly acceptable

Office Home & Student 2016 was easy to install. Works well.

THe office home and student package is the same word processor, spreadsheet and presentation program as in the office for business package. This gives you the full compatibility of the work programs at a lower cost at home. The main function not included is MS Outlook. With email and calendar on the web from multiple suppliers such as Google that provide the function with one set of data across ALL of your devices, makes the need for a one-off email/calendar program small for an SMB, home business or student.
