But these are the industry standards, and do everything I would ever have a need for. They just aren't as intuitive for me to navigate. But that likely has more to do with my familiarity with them than it does their capability.

Will I be charged again? Do I have to spend money on a new machine? ****

Converted the 97/2003 files to 2007 on the old computer then moved those files to the new computer with Works 2016. 2016 opens and reads the 2007 files just fine, no problems so far. Nearly 5000 word and excel files moved.

Just a note if you want Outlook you have to buy the Business version the Home and Student version does not have Outlook.. .
