Purchased this system for the new computer for my son.

i had to get this cuz i always use Work and Excel so nothing new as far as using it but will have to learn PowerPoint and all the other features.

Items works perfectly had no problems with installed.

I think the interface has changed a little, but other than that it's the same suite we are accustomed to. I bought the "for life on one device" vs. the subscription because I only really need it on one computer. It would be nice if you could buy one and discount the second product key if needed for one more computer. My .02...

It's a bit more expensive than the regular yearly subscription but it's well worth it because you don't have to worry about having to pay it ever again...has all the necessary things I need for school

Microsoft has a great program, but the hoops that a customer has to jump throught to install the program are too much. Microsoft is too focused on securing their furture and not on enhancing the customer interface. Simplify the installation procedure. It is a 30 to 60 minute procedure to install Microsoft Office Home - Student.

I purchased this package to replace a much older version of Office that was functional but out of date. As usual MS Office is backwards compatible but older spreadsheet and document versions will require a conversion which is very easy to accomplish.

So far this is fitting my needs of sporadic use. It is not intuitive and I have to use the search function to make basic changes like the default font settings. Once I starting using that instead of looking for answers I was able to complete my edits and changes.

I've purchased other computers from Best Buy, but this one is the cream of the crop. The new all in one design is so much better than all the wires and boxes (towers) . If you can't find something, the built in helps are great. Glad the Associate pointed this one out.

Got this for a slight discount with a Surface Pro purchase and since I plan on using it for more than a year it pays for itself vs Office 365 monthly fees. Install and activation requires a Microsoft account, fyi, but was easy and straight forward.

Had trouble installing because the new laptop came with the temporary yearly license for Office 365 already installed. So I had to uninstall Office 365 before the permanent licence for Office Home and Student could be seen on the laptop UI screen.

In upgrading from Office 2005 to Office 2015, I have had to re-learn many funtions. However, as I become more familiar with the new version, I like it much better and have many more options. Also, Office Outlook allows me to sync my Apple and Windows operating systems.

After restoring my laptop, I had to purchase Office again. The installation was simple and fast and the program works great. Exactly as expected.

The price was right for this addition to the laptop.

I had an old Dell computer and needed a new one. I decided to get a Dell again because I was happy with my old one. My Dell Inspiron is a Great computer with a big screen, printer (HP Officejet Pro). Buying at Best Buy was a pleasant experience.
