Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, affordable price, and the inclusion of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Many appreciate the software's compatibility and performance. Some users wish for the inclusion of Outlook and Publisher, and note that this is an older version without automatic updates. The lack of Outlook is a frequently cited drawback.

An ideal solution for a home computer

Well the installation was rather quick and easy. I just hate how so much personal information was required. You must provide all that before downloading and you must agree to automatic updates or you can't use the software. It’s weird buying this without a disc, but I found out that once you make an office acct your key and information will always be there. An ideal solution for a home computer.

It was finally time to upgrade from Office 2003. The "when bought with PC" price was only a little more than a subscription to Office 365. If we use it for more than 10 years again cost will be minimal. Learning curve on the ribbon menus wasn't steep at all.

Bought this as part of a bundle with a new HP Laptop. Has all the Office features you know and love, with the exception of Outlook. Happy with my purchase.

My old Word program expired and needed a new one to keep my Word program. Went to Best Buy and find the program with no problems. Was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. Came home and installed the program with no problems.

This was a great, not very expensive, way to have the MS Office products that I use most. Simple to install and set up, MSOffice quality as expected.

I purchased this mainly because the price point was the lowest compared to other sites. It also didn't hurt that I had some accumulated points that came in very useful to further lower the price I paid. Okay product. Nothing negative to report here.

Office just gets better and better. No need to learn new commands - Microsoft just adds new ones. You can't go wrong, it's worth the investment.

Why does Microsoft change all this stuff? I migrated from an extremely reliable MS Office platform that I used to run my martial arts school. The improvements are OK, but why do they feel a need to change the locations of everything? I can find everything eventually, but what a hassle!

I purchased the 2007 Student version of Microsoft Office and then replaced it with the 2016 version. The 2016 has a better feel to it and is more responsive than the 2007 version. It also has a built in inventory of Avery labels. It is easy to get a template, just click on Open Other documents, New, Labels and then type in your Avery four digit number (IE 5160), Select the design you want, then hit create and you got it. Do the first label and It copies your address to the rest of the labels on the page. It is easy to modify as well.

You can't go wrong with Microsoft Office. It's probably the only thing they do right. If you can get over paying this much for software you can't install as many times as you deem fit that is.

Took a few days to get it configured like my previous version - so now works like before. Like Exell better now - you have to add additional sheets - instead of it automatically starting with 3 - and I'd have to delete them.

Microsoft Office is one of those products that really doesn't need a review... it's programs are so heavily ingrained into essential and everyday tasks tied to computers. Why would folks try to go without these programs? I personally dislike the yearly subscription model, as I just need the base Word, Powerpoint, and Excel (don't really see the functionality in One Note). If you are in the same boat, then be sure to pick up this version of Microsoft Works (Home and Student), as this is a one-time buy.

Lost my computer with Hurricane Harvey. In buying a new computer I also had to upgrade my software. I did not want to pay an annual fee for Microsoft Office which Office 365 requires you to do. This product is meeting my needs.
