MIcrosoft Office Home & Student 2016 for Mac is still the best suite of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software available to complete a new MacBook purchase. It is backward-compatible with many older versions of Microsoft Office and provides much more capability than the programs like "Pages" and "Numbers" now being included in the software suite included with new Mac purchases.

It's Office and works beautifully on the Mac. I like the Outlook for the Mac better than the one I had in Windows. Of course, I like everything better on the Mac!!!

Software installation was really easy. I did something wrong during installation and had to call Microsoft tech support. They answered call quickly and fixed problem even quicker.

The Microsoft Student pack for Mac works just as well as the one for Windows! I was nervous to purchase this as I have always used PCs but I needed a Mac for my business. The student pack is as expected, although I could have gone without all of the templates, but that is just me. If you like already designed templates, you will be in heaven!!! Word works just as good for the Mac pack as it does for Windows.

I lost track of how many versions I have purchased of Office. I'm not a heavy user bought this product was a great price and exactly what was needed for my daughter's new Mac.

I originally had the older version. I recently purchased a new MacBook Air so I purchased this product. Overall very pleased with it, it comes with all of the office programs.

Loaded like a charm. It's great. I highly recommend this to everyone for home personal use.

The Office itself is good. The only problem is that when I peeled off the sticker to reveal the code, it also peeled the code and I could not see the code. I called the Geek Squad and they gave me the code.

It's Microsoft Office and it works on Mac. I wouldn't say it's 100% equal to how it runs on a Windows computer. It lags a little bit but a recent update on 4/8/2016 seems to have fixed a problem with it crashing. If you really liked Microsoft Office on your PC, then this is great for those who want the Apple products but love the editing power of Office. There really is no other great product to compare it to.

I love my Mac but I find the Excel and Word programs much better than Numbers and Pages.

I had Office 2007 on my old computer and have Office 2010 at work, but this new 2016 version is even better. The only problem was with the Best Buy employee that initially gave me the PC version of Office along with the iMac I was purchasing at the same time. I didn't notice his mistake until I got home and tried to install the software, causing a return trip to BB to exchange it for the Mac version. That was ridiculous and would have been hilarious if it weren't so frustrating.

Great for college students who need word and PowerPoint on their MacBook for school.
