Exactly what I wanted..

I didn't want a subscription I had to renew every year. This is exactly what I wanted and it works great. Comparable with all of my old documents from the 2011 version.

Much in the World still requires Windows based programs. Office is one such example. What a great program. You will love it.

Needed for classes

I've never used it for a Mac before because I've never owned a Mac until now. It's a little different but still easy to use.

Overall a great product you can install on a Mac

However, make sure you are on the correct installation site to download product. I had to call Microsoft a few times to get some kinks worked on during the download.
