When I first switched from a Microsoft PC to an iMac, I was concerned about my ability to continue using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I’m not a huge computer geek so I chose the simplest option for my computing needs. I’m only using it on that one device, although it’s good for up to three. I especially like that there are no yearly fees.

I am not at all in to the subscription based software crap. I know that the subscription based software gets updated with new improvements. But then again, I am not a heavy user to care enough about that. If you are and are concerned about new improved updates, then I can respect that, I guess. But once you give up or decide not to subscribe any longer, then you lose your work.

He apparently took out the old Office Home Student device and added the new one. It worked while I was there. I left for two weeks and now am struggling again with this Office Home Student device. It doesn't allow me to work on the necessary work I need to do. I ask is it the computer, the program or the person using it. To eliminate the later choice I get help from people who know computers, they say take it back or return the computer something is not right. Very frustrating.
