Thus far performing well and able to read my 2010 Word & Excel Documents that have been transferred to my new HP Envy PC. Been using for last 2 weeks on new PC. Would recommend MS Office Home & Student Edition unless user requires more functionality by upgrading to Business Edition. But H&S Edition does everything I need.

I had office 2013 on old computer, so to access that I had to get this. It does not play well with the old version. Many things can't open. Not happy about that. So, as I go along, I have to copy info ( letters and such) on a flash driveand then paste to new doc on new computer, then I have it. You would think Microsoft would let it migrate all, not so. I gave it 4 stars only because it has some cool options that 2013 didn't, but the migration and access only gets a three star.

I recently purchased a new laptop and needed to upgrade the software. I did not want the Office 365 because of the yearly cost. I was able to get this 2019 version at a discount because it was near Christmas and that made it even better. For my purposes, the up front expense will pay for itself over the time period I will use the program.

Wanted him to have this loaded and on board his new Macbook Pro. No issues and now he owns it. One thing I would recommend looking into before buying though, Most schools have some type of discounts available or even offer what you may need for free. Both to download or cloud based. In my case, I knew that was an option but I wanted him to have it. I didn't find it cost prohibitive and now he has it.
