I buy this when I purchase a new computer. It is for one device license. I do not prefer the Office 365 as I do not share my documents with other devices. You usually get an average of $20 off when it is purchased with a new device through Best Buy. I recommend the cost of the one license for a desktop or laptop computer as the average length of that device is three to five years and is much cheaper than the annual 365 office. Just be careful when you do install it and not click for the 365 Trial offer or you may have to uninstall and reinstall the software again. I bought this along with the new computer for a relative and helped them set it up.

Great Product, Great Price. I do accounting and Excel is perfect for the spread sheets I need to do. Word is perfect for the Notices and information I need to send to people.

The Office Home & Student programs are like the ones I had before which makes them easy to use. The applications are exactly what I needed on my new computer.

Glad to have this version. The bad thing is Microsoft is still trying to update 365 version and will charge me $99.99. The already took that amount for a previous update then took the money out of bank account. My computer wasn't working so it never got loaded. They did not believe me. And Chase bank agreed with them so I'm out the money. Please help and do not let them load it on my computer again. If you can get my money back I will tell everyone how you help a retired women. Who can't believe that she go taken.

I like that I was able to purchase Hassel free, there are no updates that come with this like the others but its still a bang for your buck, because it's a one time purchase

I use the excel program for my home budget and tracking expenses. Word is used for typing recipes and any other documents I don’t want to hand write. I use a lot

An excellent package of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019, 3 of the most commonly used application in any Office/ Medical/ Academic environments, and the price is fair.

My free student access ended so I was looking for an affordable and basic product. This one is affordable and has all the office products I need for my computer. So far no issues.

The new Office is easy to use and all my old documents were saved. However, my computer was hacked while I was installing it. After entering the 25 digit code, a message appeared on the screen informing me that the installation was halted because there were problems with malware in the computer. If I called a number on the screen, someone would help me fix the problems and complete the installation. Assuming it was Microsoft technical people that I was talking to, I turned over the computer to them so they could "fix" the problem. I finally woke up when they tried to charge me a few hundred dollars for their "help" and my credit cards would not allow the charge. By this time they probably had time to download all sorts of private information that could be used fraudulently. We immediately canceled the credit cards and changed passwords for our banking. We also took the iMac to the Geek squad for them to clean up the computer and install another Office upgrade. So far we have only lost the price of the original Office that got us into trouble, but we have spent hours changing passwords, user names, etc. on as many websites as we thought could be of benefit to the hackers. I hate to think what could have happened if our credit cards had allowed the payment they asked for. So if you purchase software such as Office and try to install it yourself be aware that the bad guys are out there in case you fall for their "help" like I did.I hope this review saves others from making the same mistake I made.

When the Basics are needed-- This is your product. There are other Free choices that could be downloaded, but the translation of documents change in was to make documents unreadable. This was an affordable choice.

New computer so needed new software. It works like it always has. I have tried other software that other people say are just like, but it never is as good. Love using Word.

As always with Microsoft software, they make it easy to use. All features are in easy to find locations. The option to purchase outright was a much needed option.

Provided the needed software to allow documents, powerpoint and spreadsheets to be created. Glad to get the digital version which allows for quick installation.

I'm not somebody who needs the subscription for Word or Excel programs every time a update happens, so I am very happy with the one time purchase of this product suite.

I bought this because the new computer did not have a disc drive. Well I downloaded this, and none of my old documents moved over. After downloading I already had to update. And could not open. Well back to best buy...Talked to associate there and came up with possible solution of buying a disc drive and also had to get an adapter.. loaded in my old version of office 2011... everything works fine now.. Also, now you have to pay yearly to use this..69.99 a year...ridiculous.. I cancelled that and use my 2011 version after wasting 100.00 on this very dissatisfied and a shame that they make you do this

It was an easy download, that went directly to the Your Products screen. However, it did delete my other products off of the Your Products screen I had and it also ended up deleting my WebRoot program from my computer at the same time which I have since redownloaded. However, the apps work great, online and offline, and I now have it permanently on this computer after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It looks like it came with the computer and it registered on my Microsoft account as well so I am always good to go with the product key as mine.

I am a frequent user of the MS Office Suite and this home and student version was simple to install and the tools are current and easy to use. Also, this is a good value for the product you receive.

If you don't want to bother with the monthly or yearly subscription. Its pricey considering we use to purchase it for three PCs. I currently have it installed on two devices and its update process is less frequent but it allows me to do things without seeing drastic changes every two or three weeks. Dependable and it also stores in your Microsoft account if you need to access it later on. If you need to change it from your Pc to another. Make sure to deactivate it first and install it on the other PC and give customer service a call to help with the process.

This is a good product for those who don't need the latest and greatest. It's a one time download with no upgrades. But, since my last Word update was almost 10 years ago it works great for me.
