    I first transferred my files to the "Pages" system that comes with MacBook. I did not like this system AT ALL. So, I went and purchased the 2019 version of Office Home & Student. All of my files from my 2011 model transferred into the new version flawlessly. I did it myself without tech support?

    I've been using Microsoft Office Home & Student for years, and always recommend it to my friends. I also recommend getting the 'life-time' version vs the 'annual subscription' version. It costs more initially, but well worth it in the long run. I write articles for a blog and use a lot of pictures, and the Microsoft Word program works great for this purpose.
