When my 2010 Laptop was dying, I purchased a new Laptop at Best Buy. My old computer had Microsoft Office 2010 and I had gotten use to it. I could not get by without "Word" and "Excel". Office Home & Student 2019 was an excellent replacement without purchasing the full and higher priced Business version - and upgraded too!

My work still uses Microsoft Office and I have been using it for years so it's simple for me. Bought a new cpu so I needed it as well. I like Google's G-Suite as well and many schools are going the Google route so I don't know if it is even needed for school districts using Google. Make sure you know before you buy for your student. This is not needed if G-Suite is used.

This was for our adult daughter and met her needs perfectly.

I've just had product for a few weeks, but when I got it with new laptop all my documents transferred perfectly and I've experienced no interruptions or problems in picking up right where I left off. I use Office for personal financial management and scheduling, as well as signifcant volunteer paperwork.

It has all the features that a majority of business use, so why not be able to access the same at home? Turn your scanned documents into PDF, save your word documents as PDF, create labels for mailing, create graphs, insert pictures, use clipart to illustrate your communications, and so much more.

The kids apparently have access to this programming through their school's online sources. I had no idea. This one sits awaiting my next laptop replacement. LOVE Office Programs though! This particular version is a lot of fun to use! Excellent for writing papers with lots of research involved! Notates automatically.

Nice if you don't want to have to pay monthly or yearly subscriptions.

Bought this because I didn't want my stuff on any 'cloud'. It was a bit more of a process to install than I thought would be but nothing horrible. I do wish that it included Outlook for the price (you need to buy Home and Business - $100 more - for that added program) but I will survive without it. Overall just fine...especially not having to pay a yearly fee to be on a 'cloud'.

Convenient and easy to install with all directions.

I bought this to use on my Surface Go after I took it out of safe mode. I plan on keeping the Surface Go for a long time and didn't want to keep paying an annual subscription fee. Also, I have to need for the cloud storage that comes with Office 365 as I use Google Drive. Owning this license was the best choice for me.

For my purchase, excellent knowledge and help. I knew what I wanted to replace my laptop. I was shown a better one on sale for about the same cost of my last purchase. I was led through the purchase, and signing up with Greek Squad for cleaning up the purchase.

Wish it was not so expensive just to be able to have documents like word power point excel etc on my laptop. The program itself is great I’m just not too happy with Apple charging so much for a laptop and then making me purchase typically used software lol

Perfect Software both for when I was in school as well as home related purpose. I use to always have to use this software for completing most papers, assignments and projects for school and now I use it to stay organized for work and home related purposes.

This works perfectly for our elementary and junior high school kids. They mostly use Google Docs for they’re schoolwork but occasionally need to use Microsoft Office for their needs. While it doesn’t have all the options available that the monthly subscription has, it’s plenty for us.

I bought a new MacBook and needed Microsoft. I didn’t want 365 because I don’t always have internet. It works like it should. I don’t see any differences in this and the older versions except find/replace is hard to find or not on there. I’m not sure, I haven’t found it yet.

So in my original review, i was complaining that the product key didn't work. turns out it was my fault for not cleaning the scratch cover enough i read the letter T as letter J. after which it worked fine and i was able to download word, excel and powerpoint. they're all i need. I get my email thru gmail now, anyway.

I've been using Microsoft office with no issues. It's been great having this product to further my career. without Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word I would be lost. Best Buy provided a great product and service at a reasonable price. I would recommend this Microsoft Office to anyone in need of those services

For how much you’re paying, I wish this included everything in the Microsoft Office suite, but I can make do with what it comes with in this one (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). For things like Outlook and Access I can do at my work. It just adds a little to the inconvenience side. I also prefer to be able to pay one initial cost like with this version rather than pay a never subscription fee.
