Works as advertised. I wanted a stand alone program. So I wouldn't have to pay for a subsciption every year. You have to realize that Microsoft won't let you upgrade this program to their next release. They should allow you to upgrade at a discounted price if you want or you decide you need the newer features. My gripe is that a lot of times they take away features that you actually like to use in their later releases. Apple is even more guilty of this practice. Every time they upgrade their operating system a lot of my software won't work.Infact, that is why I was forced to buy this software because my previous Office wouldn't work. One criticism is they should allow you to use it on multiple devices registered to one individual. Also it would be nice feature if you work on one device and automatically be able to pick up where you left off on another.

I haven't had a chance to use the new Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 very much. Although it seems to operate like the Microsoft Office Home & Student on the computer I replaced. It is well worth the money to have Microsoft Office on your computer.

My old computer has Office Home and Student 2010 installed on it which I am very accustomed to using. This 2019 edition is compatible with my 2010 edition & I can modify my old files that I copied to my new computer. It works a bit differently but not difficult to figure out.

Bought this along with a laptop for my son for college because I figured he would need it. I believe the program will be beneficial I just wish it didnt have to be so expensive or bring back when they included it for free when you purchased a tower or laptop. They do have a subscription paid base as well but I found that even to be ridiculous.

It was a wonderful card made from the finest card material. The printing was so easy to read... all kidding aside, I followed the minimalist instructions on the card and had Office installed and running in short order, no issues, just what I expected from Microsoft.

When I purchased my new laptop, there was simply no question about it. I had to have Office installed. I'm not sure I could function without it. I use Word on a regular basis, copying recipes, articles, etc., and track savings, investments, budgets, etc. on Excel. Best Buy had a great price on the Home & Student version, and it suits my needs perfectly.

Great software package for pros and beginners alike. However, I had a problem. The software was not activated at the time of purchase, which I was not aware . Therefore, I spent many hours trying to load. Eventually had to return to the store, problem solved.

If you're not interested in having to pay a monthly subscription for Microsoft Office on a Mac this is the way to go. It is a little complicated at first to set it up on the Macbook but after overcoming that small hurdle you're good to go!

wouldn't buy a laptop or computer without this. I have purchased this for my Mac, as well as my Lenovo.. fast upload times, haven't had any issues with the product key. great product. only drawback is the thing wants to update every week but I think that is normal now a days. xx

Windows 10 does not come with Office and I use Works and Excel often. Since I only needed it on 1 computer I did not want a subscription. This works out cheaper in the end for me. Very easy to install and works great. A smooth transition for all my old files.

This was added to my new all in one Dell. Replace older Office programs on my old computer. Greek Squad helped install the program and walked me through operation on new Excel and Word. Very satisfied with new program and compatibility with older files.

I think that the HP Envy works well, for the work I do as a healthcare provider. I paid a modest price for a quality product that has decent processing speed, good camera and resolution. This portable computer is accessible and dependable, while also offering touch screen and positional options for screen viewing.

I don't have the need for annual updated office, and don't like the idea of having to pay an annual subscription for that. tried some of the free 'clone' type software, and honestly they're pretty good, however, when sending\receiving files from others, you simply need to have the basic msft office software. This does the trick.

The preloaded apps on my mac work fine, but working in an office that is a majority Windows users, this is a must have to be able to properly share and create documents. New editions work smoothly, look great, and have plenty of good changes from older editions.

I am happy with the product. It has compatibility with my older files. The only problem was my Dell computer came preloaded with an Office 365 trial and Microsoft made it very hard to get rid of the 365 trial and install the purchased Office program. The 365 program kept trying to override access to the paid program and force a subscription.

I purchase this with a new laptop and received $20.00 off the price. For $130.00 and no yearly subscription it is perfect for a single laptop. I did not want to pay subscriptions. Not sure, but if you need it for multiple laptops, there may be better purchasing options.

After purchasing a new computer for my parents I also had installed the Microsoft office 365 for them. With the ads and then work that they would do on word Excel or PowerPoint this application suits them extremely well

A very frustrating experience to start out...you MUST have a microsoft email account to download this...only that was never made clear. Once I knew that, it was OK. That was 4 hours of my life trying to figure it out with the Geek Squad....I'll never get that time back...

I used Microsoft Office at work and wanted to have it on my new computer. This version is different than what I was used to but I'm still able to figure out the options I like. It was much nicer when the computers came with programs already on them so you didn't have to purchase them separately though.
