I do not like program subscriptions. I purchased this version of office because it’s a one-time expense. It does everything I need and it does it well.

This version of Office does not include Microsoft Outlook. It costs an additional fee (significant) to get that program. Unless you don't intend to use Outlook e-mail and calendar, this could be an issue. One of my major reasons to get the stand-alone Office is to be able to work off-line, but another was to be able to import my e-mail, contacts and calendar from a prior computer with MS Office (including Outlook). Without that functionality, the remaining programs just did not meet my needs sufficiently to justify the cost for use as a home PC. Returned for refund.

Moving to Office 2019 from Office 2007 is mind boggling. 2019 has bells and whistles I will never use. They changed and hid all of the buttons I am familiar with. Just finding how to do what I am familiar with is a big learning curve.

I contacted the Geek Squad by phone and they researched if I could use my old programs and found I could not so they transferred me over to Best Buy sales. After I got the new software the Geek squad helped installing it.

I know Google Docs is free and it lets you open Word and Excel files, but the interface just wasn't exactly the same so I bought the one-time purchase version of this software. I think it's crazy to pay annual fees (especially such high ones) but I'm hoping to have my MacBook for 6+ years so this should pay for itself.

So far so good. We purchased this so our kids would be able to do work on the new computer, for school. We would rather have to pay once than to pay yearly when we just needed the basics and this fit the bill.

First I want to mention that yes, it is a lot to spend at one time to purchase this product. However the amount of money you will be saving by doing the one-time product key purchase versus doing a subscription is worth it.

Microsoft has been pushing the sale of 365 but their stand alone is the only way to go. Simply download from Microsoft website and enter license serial number from card. This is not a CD, only a product license serial number.

Much less expensive than Office 365, but that depends on what you need. All I really needed was Excel, but Word comes with this, so it is a plus. More expensive in initial payment, but this is lifetime with updates, so that should be considered.

This bundle is perfect for a college kid or someone who keeps the same computer for a long time. It has all the different word products and is very effective for someone who needs or used them all, or even just a few of them.

Its a very basic microsoft office package. Works as intended. I would recommend to anyone. I purchased the one time license. I don't like paying a yearly subscription so I purchased this.

I would never have a computer without Office. I have not used it except for a few things but Office has been great for me for years. I thought though that the price was a bit exorbitant for one year service. Simple to install.

I purchased Microsoft Office for my daughter. She said it has been very helpful for school. Word has been very helpful for school papers. She also uses Excel and PowerPoint for school. She is very happy with it.

All the necessary tools for a student or business. Has all the Microsoft tools needed to write papers through word, create Power points through PowerPoint and excel to do graphs charts and accounting

This product was super easy to install and it is simple to navigate. I'm glad the salesperson I was working with didn't try to up-sell me to the more costly option. This has everything that I need to go about my daily life.

While you get all the new bells and whistles with 360, we just needed the basics and knowing we didn't have to worry about paying an annual fee to use these apps. Due to Covid-19 kids had to switch to online learning.

Bought this software as a bundle with my Dell computer. The salesperson said Access was included and upon arriving home some 3 hours away I see it did not. Not happy about that, but can use my MS 2013 version. Glad my programs updates to current version when I upload it at work . . . . at least, for now.

Terrific update of word comes with excel. Matched to speed of brand new desk top. Very pleased - very helpful to have used word for many years. Easy learning curve. Lots of tips and prompts. Single user version annual license

To me it's expensive - this plus a computer. However, it downloads easily by following the instructions. I prefer owning and not renting software. Used Word for a long time and this will go a long way and probably outlast the function of the computer.

Great software for a college student but it does not include outlook. If you need it for email then get Office 365. Otherwise this works great for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
