I am able to use the Word and Excel programs with no problems and was able to figure out the changes from the older versions I've used without consulting a manual. The programs are easy to use. I do not use the other programs, so I'm unable to comment on their usefulness.

Office Home & Student has all that will be needed for most computer needs I.e.: word, excel, and power point. there is no need to renew or pay each year. The programs are on for the life of the computer

All the functionality of the latest version of Windows without the annoying new 360 subscription service. Additionally, there is no need to have internet access for any of the features.

Not only does this comes with office,it also comes with a lot more. It is worth it to pay for Microsoft office one time,so you don’t have to pay every year.my granddaughters use it better than me.

Purchased this for the new laptop we got for my father-in-law. Decent price for core office products. I still prefer this perpetual license over the subscription-based license. If you primarily need a word processor and/or spreadsheet, this is the license you should get.

I cannot live on Google Docs alone. I just sucked it up and made the purchase since I use all the included products. I use them in my profession and plan on using them when I retire and work from the road.

I have used MS Office since its introduction. While a few things are different in this version, I had no problem getting used to it. My online life continues as usual. It reads my old files just fine.

Very happy to have the new Microsoft. I was disappointed that I had to purchase it after buying my new computer. Best Buy helped out with points which lowered the cost!

We have had Microsoft Office on all of our computers. Purchased a new laptop and installed...went very smoothly. This was a one time install without paid updates which were not needed with our new computer.

I love my Apple products, but I have never been a fan of the Pages software. I always buy Microsoft Word and Excel for my Macbooks. It works beautifully on the MacBook and I will never use anything else.

Still disappointed that Microsoft has switched to subscription plans for its Office product. Which means I have to pay annually to continue to use the product. However, it is still the industry standard. Can't fight City Hall.

Glad I purchased. Salesperson was familiar with everything needed to set up and start working. I was glad he approached me to assist me. I hope he received a commission for my purchases.

After having the Microsoft ANNUAL 365 package that I was getting charged for on an automatic roll-over, I decided to by the OFFICE Home &N Student, one time buy out. What a giant PAIN to get it installed. The Geek Squad tried once-it didn't work. Then we found out the old 365 must be REMOVED FIRST and then the new one reloaded. That didn't work either. I had to call the Microsoft Help in some foreign country, and that call took over an hour for the de-installer and Re-Installer to accomplish the very difficult change from his end. A giant headache-then getting everything back on-line and recognizable for my use, is still a problem. Don't try this at home-even the Best Buy Pro's couldn't make it work.

The software is easy to use. It is a lot different than my older version that I replaced but is easy to learn the new things. I prefer the one-time purchase rather than the annual subscription plan

If your system doesn't come equipped with Office its pretty much a necessity if you conduct any work on your machine. As long as you can catch it on Sale, its a must buy when needed.

Cheaper option than Office 365, which is subscription. Not as many features as other MS Office products, but I only really use Excel and Word for home use. Would like Publisher but I’m cheap and don’t want to buy a subscription. It works for my needs.

Good software...nice to be able to use the same software between work & home. Only wish I could get it the old way ..purchase once ..good for up to 5 computers. Now it's 1 computer or pay every year.

I know Microsoft wants us all to buy in to the annual renewal, but I don't want to and appreciate the ability to purchase this standalone version for my new laptop. Thanks for offering this at a good price!

I had MS Office Enterprise 2007, and MS decided to stop supporting it to the point I could not use it AT ALL. So, in order to continue using MS products, I bought this instead of their subscription service.
