The link to install came right after purchase. This was my first time downloading the software to a Mac and the process was quite simple.

I purchased the new version because Microsoft stopped supporting the version I was using. Digitally it is easy to install and has the basics I needed.

To level set, I'm reviewing the Mac version, upgrading from Office 2016. The software so far is great, getting it up and running was a nightmare. So be ready. First, I logged into my MS account and entered the key code. It took me to a services page that had no download on it. I spent half an hour looking for the download and how to get in touch with service. Finally got into an online chat and they told me it was on the services page. It was not. He asked if Was logged in to the right account. On my own I solved by logging out of my MS account and log back in before it finally appeared. Now the install. It went fine until it finished and I tried to open a program. None would open. They all bounced in the dock for a LONG time and then locked up. No error message, just no program. Had to force quit in order to try again for the same result. I did some troubleshooting online and it seems to be a common issue when "upgrading." Finally decided to remove Office completely for a reinstall. This involves finding and deleting files in the MacOS Library and User folder, as well as the application itself. Also downloading and running the MS license removal tool. After completing the uninstall, I reinstalled and everything is now working. I'm not alone. A little searching the web and you'll find tons of people like me. Some people blame the Mac - not me. I've installed and run dozens of software, including massive powerful multimedia programs. The other publishers ALL get it right.

My purchase of the Office Home and Student was just what I needed for my new computer. It works well and I am satisfied with the results. Thanks again to Geek Squad and Best Buy for keeping me up to date.

My wife was working with a much older version of Office on an older laptop....installed this on a brand new HP laptop for her birthday and she is ALL smiles!

I'm old school when it comes to using original programs instead of free ones that mimic them. Call me crazy. This Home & Student version is perfect for me because the 3 Office programs that are included are pretty much all I ever used from the Office suite anyway. I'm always leery about digital downloads and if they'll work properly. I've never had one as easy as this. From the time of ordering it to the time I got the download email to the time I had it installed and using it was less than 10 minutes total. The process was flawless! Happy camper.

A must need for any computer. The suite does not disappoint. Recommended to purchase with any laptop. I bought this second one for my wife's MacBook!

Used office 10 for years and finally updated to office 2019. The update was smooth and the program works well. Preferred to buy it rather than get the annual renewal. Old files converted without any problems

Perfect gift for my fiancé this Christmas. She will be attending nursing school & this software will provide the tools she needs to perform her duties.

Since i don't need a full office suite and I don't like the idea of paying a yearly service fee for 365, this product gives me what I need for windows office.

The product itself - Microsoft Office 2019 - is fine and I would rate it 4 stars. The Geek Squad assistance I received was not. The man was curt and abrupt. He told me I needed Office, described the two versions and said it was an "adult" decision. He did not even quote the price. His instruction to just hit the Geek Squad icon and go from there was inadequate. I felt he could hardly wait to get rid of me.

This program is very similar to older versions and doesn't overwhelm the user with a bunch of new items. It was easy and simple to instal and get started as well!

Assistance from the Best Buy Associate when I made the purchase was A++++!! Installation was simple end the applications work great!!

The set of apps is just enough to start up the basics that is needed. However, it would have been beneficial if apps such as adobe and other tools to assist with research are added to the student package.

I bought this laptop as a gift for my sister. She loves it. Her last HP laptop was 7 years old and she almost wore it out. She fires this one up every day, searching the internet and writing her memoirs for her grandchildren! The touchscreen feature was new for her and she loves it. It is user friendly, lightweight and the geek squad was great about transferring her pictures and data from her old laptop to the new one. All in all, a great long-term gift that she will enjoy for many years. Thanks Best Buy and HP for offering great laptops at reasonable prices. You are our go-to store for all of our electronic needs.

I only purchased this because I did an update on our MacBook due to the whole covid 19 thing and school being canceled for the kids and my son needing to do school work at home... well after update the current word was no longer compatible so I had to purchase this which was a total pain for what ever reason it kept giving me an error wouldn't download! For over a day. And with the last download we had like five features from like word PowerPoint excel and two others this one only gives you those 3. Unless you purchase the 365 I believe or the subscription. And that whole not compatible thing and then the errors all not this things fault I know it was from the update on the macbook!!! Worst thing ever. But every good now just took a long time and $150

I needed Microsoft apps fast and with the help of Best Buy I was able to sign documents and use words as soon as possible!!

Works great with my new laptop. Employee offered me a sales price without knowing it had expired, and they still honored the sales price

Awesome deal on a lifetime program for Microsoft...absolutely worth every penny and then they threw in deals and sales to make it even more worthy.

The set suite of programs was easy to install and easy to use. I appreciate that the package came with the programs I was in need of, all together.
