||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This version of Office comes with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel, which is all I wanted, however I was adding this to a new laptop that came with an Office 2016 Trial that had been pre-installed. The instructions say to uninstall previous versions of Office before installing this one. After doing that, my new laptop boots with an error message that says there is no default mail client, and I need to open MS Outlook to make it the default mail client. Unfortunately, there is no way to do that, because this version does not have Outlook. The previous version was removed with the un-installation of Office 2016 per their instructions. Based on an online search for solutions, it appears this is a common problem. Of course, I reached out to Microsoft, and they acted as though they had never heard of the issue. They attempted to resolve the issue via remote support and the message subsided for a couple days. Then it started showing up again inconsistently, which is mind boggling. Sometimes it will show up, other times it won't. Excel, Word, and PPT are fine. The Outlook error message this caused is simply annoying. I probably should have stuck with Office 2016.

Then you can add your Outlook account to it and set that as your default mail client.

I don't like the way things are set up that I have to open up another area to either get my stuff or save to somewhere. It should be wherever you want to save to that is where it should be, not have to look all over the place for it.

The new deal any more is buy Microsoft Office monthly but I go this on a permanent basic for which I feel is less expensive. To my understanding they are trying to close out permanent. The new format of Office is a bit different and unfamiliar to me but I guess I will get used to it but I wish I had my old format.
