Thank goodness we bought the support also. We had to go back several times to get everything on the new computer from the old one. Also was not aware that in a new Dell computer no software comes with it. Kinda disappointing.

We're sorry to hear your setup process was a bother. In the future, know that Windows 10 and Office can easily transfer data from one device to the next. When you need to move data again, login to your Microsoft Account and save all your data and files. Then, uninstall Office from your old machine. Next, login to your Microsoft account on your new machine and install Office. All your data and files should transfer over without having to download or activate Office again. To move Windows 10, follow the same process (without the Microsoft account part).
