As I am not a heavy user of either one of these products I find the "improvements" to them confusing, at the least. The tutorials furnished with the office products do not help much. Maybe I am too used to the Apple user-friendliness to deal with Microsoft products.

I always buy the open box and refurbished items when I can and that wasn't the problem. This laptop just...sucks. First, why would anyone put the webcam on the bottom of the monitor instead of the top? There isn't an edge to the monitor, so every time I would adjust my screen, I would accidentally hit the x button on my browser and it would close what I was working on. There does need to be some space between the screen and the edge of the monitor. The audio driver didn't work and had to be reinstalled regularly. It was consistently over heating and the fan was really loud, which was the reason I took it to the Geek Squad for repairs. They junked it and I was able to get a new one. This is exactly the reason I always get the protection plan.

Essential and necessary software
