I use Excel daily and a lot of standard add ins are missing and don't have the option of redownloading. They are in the older models so why get rid of them for the new ones?

Not happy with this version because it doesnt come with outlook. Not clear when purchasing.

I was led to believe that this had all of the things that I needed and then found out that it did not have Outlook. There did not seem to be a good resolve when talking with the Geek Squad people. I would have preferred just to turn this product back in and then get one with what I needed.

We tried to get Microsoft office for our HP computer but had trouble with loading it. Tried to get help from the Geek Squad but they never called us back. We ended up contacting our credit card company to dispute the charge as we were never able to load the Program. It is doubtful we will ever use Best Buy again.

So, Best Buy advertised this Microsoft Office on the page with the Lenovo Chromebook. Now, I'm no super tech, and every computer I've ever had I needed to purchase and load the MSO suite. So, I purchased it this time. Well, wrong!!! It doesn't work on the Chromebook. And now I've wasted my money bc I travel a lot and didn't even think for a second that it wasn't going to work to try it before now. And apparently I'm 10 days too late to return. I'm livid!!!

Microsoft office products have been around for almost as long as computers and they are the standard in business, school and many home businesses. They cater to the casual user with a home, all the way up to more complex software packages for business and enterprise systems. For this review, and as my choice I selected the student/home version. This version comes with the following programs: Word Excel PowerPoint Access These are what MS refers to as the “Classic Apps.” I have to say, with my family this is what we needed on our home PC. I can use it for work as well, but that is only on a limited basis. The main reason I got this is because my wife is a college student. Typically all the students these days are using Google Docs, which to me is a limited and handicapped version of the MS products. Office is just better and it has way more options. The version we have is for one PC/MAC and that was all we needed. Prior to this, she had Office 365 which is great. You have access to all the products MS has, but over half of them she never used. The difference is you pay a month subscription for the software vice with this one you pay up front. Plus, I know this product is backwards compatible so any old documents will be able to open with this new software. After reading MS’s website, and before installing the software, I learned you need to have Windows 10 on your computer, which is the current version on the market. It also needs 2-4 GB of RAM and 4 GB of space on you HDD/SSD. Consider that when you are looking at making the purchase, and make sure your computer can handle it. The one product I was not too familiar with was Access. I use it at work on an enterprise system, but it is for a specific task related to data input. After reading up on it, it is for just that. Entering information into a database for reporting, reference, review, etc. It is not something I typically use, nor does my wife for school. It works well the way we use it at work though and it makes the information searchable and it is user friendly. Installing the software is easy, but I had to remove an older sample version first. After doing that, you follow the directions, download the software after entering the key they provide you and its basically done. Simple and the directions get you there with ease. If you have kids in school or college, this is all you need. You can get other versions like I stated before. You can also get more user profiles so you can use it on more than one computer. But for us, this was perfect. I highly recommend it, it is the standard in which all other data entry and presentation software are judged.

Poor keyboard design. To many notices come up on screen. Excellent is very limited compared to the Excel In used at work. Software does not meet my expectations.

Since repair of my laptop and purchase/installation of Office Home & Student 2019, my computer has been extremely slow.

I was disappointed to find that it no longer had Outlook in the package. the previous version did. Would not have purchased if I had know that

Did not realize that there were restrictions and this lifetime package can't access the microphone does not update to the latest version really disappointing

the keyboard is great but the mouse works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Guess I need to exchange it for another one.

When the employee tried to install the program she found that it could not be downloaded since my computer was not compatible. Since I cannot access my spreadsheets and Window 7 is no longer available I will need to purchase a new computer and have windows installed on it.

When I brought the card home and followed the instructions to reveal the Product Code, the Product Code was illegible. After contacting Microsoft Support, I was advised to return to Best Buy for a new card. The message says this problem has been reported by many customers. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not resolved the issue. Very frustrating when you've done what you were told to do and need the product. I would give zero stars, but that isn't possible.

I hoped to make address labels for Christmas cards. After several Geek Squad sessions I was told that couldn't be done. Very disappointing!

Tried twice to install software. Went thru the preliminaries using the key ok. But to I could not install the software as an error message pops up saying I have an invalid code. Spent the $160 and I have no usable software. Went back to store after first attempt. They replaced the key card. The error message changed to you already have a copy. Now I still don’t have usable software. The the Store is not open for service.

It was allowed for use then it stopped I dont understand that because I asked specifically for the one that I dont have to purchase every year

I spoke with a salesman, told him what I needed, sold me this and I cannot use any of this! Took me about 4 - 6 days for me get it down loaded. Can't use it or the Printer I was sold, and will not let me return it, because it's 3 days over expiration date. I have worked since Christmas to get it stalled, sit on the phone for hours to get absolutely NO help. Will never shop BEST BUY again!

I couldn't use it with the computer that I tried installing it in and best buy would give me a refund after the code was scratched from the card. Do not purchase unless your are 100% sure it will work for you and your system.

When inputting this into my new laptop it actually came up with a completely different product key when I got to the page. So I logged out and came back in and used my product key again it said this key has already been used so I never got a chance to actually use this product key that I spent $130 for

The Microsoft Outlook in this package is a bare bones application; I guess you have to buy the full version to manage your emails, and have all the other features I was used to on my old laptop. The worst part is you can't create NEW folders to store your emails. I guess I will have to buy an upgrade.
