Office is an essential part of work. A real must have.

Great version. Lots of new things. Simple to navigate

Are use Microsoft word all the time, this was easy to use easy to install and I had no issues.

It's fine and works as expected. Super easy to install.

This is much better than paying the $100 a year for office 365. With this you only get the basic office apps you don't get any specialty ones that might come in the suite edition or business edition. However for your average person this is more than plenty to last for at least a few years before buying another desktop.

No idea why Microsoft decided to go towards the yearly subscription model, they don't update the programs enough to justify the cost. Pay for the program once and but the new one when they do a new release.

Wish I'd had some instruction on what One Drive is, how it works, what it's for, etc. I thought 12G of memory would be enough since I'd used less than 5G in the 10 years I'd owned my prior computer. Started out with One Drive at capacity and had to buy extra storage online. Kept getting message that 36k+ items hadn't synced correctly. One of my business email accounts lost all contacts and I'm still not sure I'm getting all my email. Luckily my daughter was able to install the Microsoft 365 that I'd purchased despite having a receipt with a product code printed so faintly that we had to guess the first letter. Not much customer service despite Geek Squad contract. Takes a long time to get through to a live person on phone, but was finally able to get Webroot installed online. (Had it earlier and renewed it, but there was a mixup in billing and this security wasn't installed when I brought home-delivered computer in to Geek Squad to have files and programs transferred from old computer to new one. Every trip into store takes several hours for commute and wait time, then usually have to leave the computer for several days to have work done.) Would have appreciated a little more TLC.

I bought this authentic copy from Best Buy after trying to get it cheaper on Ebay. Don't buy from Ebay because there are tons of fake cards and numbers being sold. I originally bought one on Ebay that was legitimate BUT it had not been authorized by a store, and therefore, did not work. Microsoft is cracking down on fake or stolen Key Cards.

Simple to install software. Word program got rid of snip it tool icon ... not happy about that!
