I only gave 4 stars because there was something when we were buying it the sales person had to go through a bunch of cards because the computer said they had already been used??? And after we got home our card would not work because it said the number was no good. I exchanged it for a new card/number so hopefully this new one will work or ill have to go back for a 3rd card.

(Office 2003) and wasn't able to open everything that I needed to... This version is great.. You only need to buy it once and then you have it... So much better than paying every year... Now I can read every document that is sent to me with no problems. The perfect Christmas gift as far as I'm concernted.,

Note that you do NOT get Outlook with this version of Office. Otoh, you don't get hosed for the higher price. Of even more note, I did not get even more hosed with the everlasting license thing that Microsoft has introduced either. This was a one time payment. And the $100 student discount from Best Buy made this almost "free" so to speak.

With this card purchase It is not a yearly price but a one time purchase and so much less expensive that the yearly price of 100.00, so glad to have this. Geek Squad installed it for me on my new computer. I am a happy customer.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I accidentally removed my Word & Excel Program from my lap top so I had to buy another software package because my Key Card Code were no good any more so I bought Home & Office 2019 Windows. Seemed easy to install but with no directions that can with it I went back and had the GEEK SQUAD install it for $40.00 and all is great. THANKS GEEK SQUAD!

Well, when I got home I found out that the new computer came with notepad and I wasted my money buying this. All I needed was a program to write down notes and misc. items. I have not used this office program. Total waste of money.
