Wow Its so Great Wow it broke
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing first i have gone through 5 of these in 2 years!! i Just use them like anybody else but it seems that after a month or two you either cant hear what people or saying or you cant hear them. if you cant hear them you can go to the settings tab on the xbox menu and change the voice to play out of the speakers.

Good headset for teenage son
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace the same product. The original MS Headset I bought lasted for over 2 years, being used by a teenage boy. I have had this one for several months and it is still working great. For the price and the functionality this is a best buy. I strongly recommend!!!

Not good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are bad. I have had three and all broke. One I dropped and it broke and two other just broke. I have wasted 60.00 dollars on these bad headphones. I'm going to buy different headphones because these break too much.

Best Headset For Beginners
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is excellent ! But This headset also comes with the regular 20gb 360 . The Design Is Good , Good To Use For A While If You Keep It In Good Shape . After Hours Of Gameplay . Your Ear Starts To Hurt . I Would Recommend This To A Friend But If Your Hardcore Gamer Like Me , I'd Recommend You To Buy The Skull Candy Army Headset Or the Wireless Headset . But In Other Hands This Headset Is One Of The Best Headsets I've Ever Used .

Good Overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good item for a good price. It works great and is very reliable. It's only flaw is that it sqeezes my ear a little too tightly.

Only Good if it's free
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had two of these and the black one that came with my elite pretty much didnt work altogether. Both the mic and the speaker worked very intermittently. The white headset that I have (since release of console) still works, but it has always been pretty mediocre. I can have the mic directly in front of my mouth and it wont pick up things when I am speaking pretty loudly, but then without changing the position it will begin to work... The speaker is also not so great. I have also had to unplug/ plug it back it in during play numerous times for various malfunctions. The only problem with this item not being all that great is that there arent very many alternatives- especially if you don't want a headphones/headset combo.

Best workhorse.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tool to have doesn't require batteries or charging. Just remember to keep off the floor and away from pets and it won't fail you. Oh don't worry about the foam on the mic it's going to fall off or get lost in the future anyways so it's not something to cry over.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute garbage, I got my xbox this christmas, and ive already used this headset twice, i had a pair of Turtle Beach XL1's they stopped working after the first day but they were better quality then this garbage headset, first one lasted 5 months then broke, i got another pair 2 weeks ago, and now I am out of a headset and I'm busy saving up for another item, and after seeing the quality of this headset I am not gonna buy another set.

Newer is Better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to buy a new headset, seeing as how my dog likes to eat them. These new headsets are a world of difference! They have a new plug that connects to the remote. I was told they don't break, unlike older ones that just stop worker. They have a new easy to use mic shut off switch which has a volume control on the side. The comfort level is the same as the old ones, nothing really changed besides that

Don't buy these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've recently purchased my fourth one of these in 2 years. These things are so annoying. And after the one that comes with your premium breaks a lot of you buy a new one. Let me tell you you will at least buy a new one 3 times in 2 years. So you might as well get wireless. But if you're going to get another xbox brand wireless mic. Just get Turtle beach x1s for 60. I'm getting turtle beach x4's today I've tried them and they are great. So get a turtle beach they range from 60-100 trittons 100-250 astros 250-300 1.Astros 2.Turtle Beaches 3.Trittons

Great mic if you like broken things
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first mic that I bought lasted me a little over a year until it finally met its demise. So I went out and bought another one thinking that maybe they had improved the design and this one would last even longer. Here it is a bit over a week later and already I can see the end is nigh. Wires are already exposed after a week of very light use. You should really avoid buying mics straight from Microsoft until they focus a bit less on making them cheaper to manufacture, and begin to focus on making a quality, lasting product.

Would be nice if it picked up my voice...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....and it does, but I have to kinda "yell" or curve the mouth piece till its practically inside my mouth. 70% of what I say never gets detected Must have gotten a defected mic.. which sucks cause it came with the system. If only the sensitivity was a little better, I wouldnt be complaining. Oh.. and the poor design is the new mic on/off being on the cord rather than the base... Seriously microsoft???? This is my only reason to not bother buying a new one. That just sucks Think I'll take my chances with a 3rd party mic.

good if included
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this headset thankfully comes included in the xboxlive starter packs, message pad, and with the purchase of a new xbox. once it breaks though, this is amongst the worst i have used to date. wireless mike will save money in the longrun, be less hassle to use, and wont make u look like a complete nerd while using it. if u cant afford a 60 dollar piece of plastic, then look into wired mikes from other brands or, if your desperate, standard phone headsets could do the trick, as the xbox headset is phone compatible.

GIMME A BREAK BREAK ME OFF A PIECE OF THAT KIT KAT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off it doesn't even sit on your head correctly. Second, you have to fight the microphone just to get it half way close to your mouth to get it to work. THIRD, I've had my 360 less than 3 weeks and the microphone already quit working. Not to excited because now I have to spend $60(turtle beach) for a decent one and who knows if Turtle Beach is any good? Have you heard of any other Turtle Beach products? ME EITHER

Terrible Over Priced Product, Do Not Buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the worst product i have ever bought for any gaming device. For $20 it broke the Week i got it and later snapped in half. The sound Quality was Trash and i couldn't hear half the Time. If you want to buy something That is cheap, yet still adds the desired Quality for a Gamer on a budget i would recommend spending around $30 or $40 to Buy Turtle Beach headphones.
