    original cord lasted almost 1 year, not very long. You have to have a charging cable.

    This power adapter has a design flaw. The way it's made causes a significant bend in the cable which ends up causing it to short out. I must have my computer on the edge of the desk to avoid bending the cable. This is very awkward and uncomfortable impeding computer usage.
