I bought this because I lost my power cord at at the airport. I read many reivews stating that these things doin't last. But mine is still going strong. However, I take extra care with it, not dropping it onto hard services and gently removing and replacing it into my Surface Laptop 2. I hope it continues to go strong for a year now.

Needed second power cord and this one is perfect! I use when I travel.

While the power adapter works great. There must be a problem with it that this is the second replacement I had to buy within 3 years and they are not cheap. I would recommend this only because if you have a surface you are going to need a power adapter to use it.

It works just as it was supposed too. This is a great charger.

It worked very well. I just needed to replace my old charger.

The Microsoft power adapter (black) that I purchased from Best Buy is well worth the additional price I paid. Actually, the adapter is better than the original adapter that was delivered with the Microsoft Surface Pro more than 4 and 1/2 years ago. It connected very easily, and works like a charm. I'm very pleased with the purchase and the quality.

Needed a replacement for a lost power unit - same as original

A necessity and works well with the surface tablet.

Works great. Pricey, but overall great. Dont lose the one you have.

Had to purchase a replacement cord for my laptop after a year; seems these easy-connect cords have a lifespan, and reflect regular usage in how long they actually last. I have had to buy a second replacement since (three power cords total) for this laptop. Oh well.

This was a replacement and so glad it was exactly what I needed

So far the charger seems to working the same as my original charger.
