I have carpal tunnel syndrome and this keyboard seems to help a bit. Using the magnetic bar makes it very comfortable for my wrists. The keys are soft because this is NOT a mechanical keyboard. The number 6 key is on the left hand side of the split, so that took some getting used to after 45 years of it being on the right hand side of a keyboard. It took me a while to get accustomed to it. The separate numeric keypad is fine by me as I use it a few times a day without any complaint. Because I have smaller hands, I use another manufacturer’s vertical mouse. Overall, the Microsoft Sculpt is a good product and I recommend it to anyone who isn’t too fussy about adapting to new products.

Had this for a few weeks now and I am still adjusting to the split style. I live how natural it feels though to my wrists. I have extremely severe carpal tunnel in both hands and the keyboard allows me to work much easier throughout the day. The mouse is larger and comfortable to use. I think you do need a wrist support pad to rest your wrist on when using the mouse though. Additionally I would suggest a riser for the 10-key pad as well so it can be raised at the same angle as the keyboard when using the riser in the keyboard.

I needed a new keyboard and mouse set as my old one was getting rather spotty when using the mouse. It was at least 10 years old and was a wireless set ( Microsoft 600 series). liked the durability and all that of the old one so went for a newer model . the Bluetooth wireless works flawlessly. the keyboard is taking me a little bit to get used to.

I have 2 of these keyboards on home computers. I don't feel the aches & pains in my hands that I get when using a flat keyboard. I really like the separate number pad.

Awesome keyboard. Love it. Not bulky like the other one that is not wireless even though that is the one that I have used for many years. Love the mouse and the separate number pad.

This was a replacement for my old Microsoft ergonomic keyboard & mouse. It was a bit of a change from the old keyboard, but once my I became accustomed to it I find it hard to use other keyboards (macbook & hp laptop). The intention of this keyboard/mouse was to augment the external display used on my work laptop I liked it so much that I purchased a second for a home lab box. Definitely consider this setup if you're in need of an ergonomic keyboard & mouse combo, It is the most comfortable keyboard I've used.

The Surface Pro 3 is fast, comes with Windows 8.1 operating system. The digital pen is very precise and great for drawing and art programs. The screen real estate is generous for a tablet. The construction is sturdy with built in kick stand in the case. Can connect to TV and home computer via router or Bluetooth. Great value for the money.

I purchased this keyboard to lose the cord and have a more ergonomic typing posture. It works great and setup is easy. I don't use the number pad much as a nurse so having it seperate was okay with me.

I like that it feels so comfortable on my wrists and fingers. Light touch on the keys but not too light. Nice angle on the hands and wrists. for this retired document writer. My current desk has a pull-out sideboard, but it is not long enough to fit the wide keyboards, so the separate number pad allows me to put the keyboard flat while putting the numbers on the desk right next to it.

I love the keyboard, the mouse is way too big for my small hand but with a thick wrist and arm support pad I've made it work. I would have given it 4 star as a result except over the last few months, after just 6 months of use, I started having issues with both keyboard and mouse. Keyboard keys get stuck and do this kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. And with the mouse, the click buttons have largely stopped working, sometimes they still work after you click 4-5 times. I contacted best buy and they said it was still under warranty, but no option to return/ exchange by mail, I have to drive 1 hour to the nearest Best Buy store to have them evaluate it and do the exchange. They offered instead to connect me with Microsoft, so after an hour of back and forth with Best Buy I'm out of luck and about to call Microsoft. Super frustrating customer service.

While the keyboard works great, I don’t know if I’m completely sold on the mouse. I’m still feeling a bit of discomfort when using. I’m sure a lot of us are working from home more and want to be comfortable! Keyboard did take a little bit of time to get used to but it worked out! I was also really excited about the number pad I like that you can move it but I feel like I never know where to keep it. Still happy with the keyboard purchase.

I am a legal secretary. My keyboard at work bought the farm, and I didn't want to do with one of the "offices" wireless straight keyboards...because I've become so accustomed to an ergo wireless, where I have the ability to move around my desk/office and still get'er done...and this gem TOTALLY ROCKS! so much so, I bought one for the office...and then bought another one for my "everyone is quarantined working at home." The best part, is luckily it's a "plug-and-play" so I didn't have to worry about installing anything on either of my pcs to get it to work. WORTH the $$

At first, the keyboard feels awkward. After just 20 minutes, I was used to it and didn't want to switch back to a standard one. It feels more natural. The standalone number pad is extremely helpful.
