I bought this because someone on the phone could hear me typing on my old keyboard. This seems much quieter and I like the size.

The perfect wireless ergo mouse/keyboard combo

I am REALLY impressed with this new MS wireless desktop set. This is a much sleeker, slender, more responsive, and overall excellent and well-designed replacement for the MS Natural Ergonomic Wireless Desktop 7000. The lower-profile keys on the keyboard are much easier and more pleasant to use, as is the mouse, which is more rounded off in design. Having a number pad as a third piece is not bothersome at all (I've even held it in my hand to use as a calculator at times :) ), and the watch batteries that run the number pad are available at most retailers (I was able to find the right battery at Walgreens). The keyboard uses two AAAs, the mouse uses two AAs, and the battery covers and keyboard lift are magnetic(!). I highly recommend this keyboard/mouse/number pad combo--I have two of these at home and am hoping to get one for work as well. Be warned, though--once you use the Sculpt natural ergo keyboard that comes with this set, you may never want to use a "standard" keyboard again.

    Comfortable, Soothing Keyboard

This is a really comfortable and soothing keyboard. As a constant typer, I appreciate the ergonomic design of both the keyboard and the mouse to help prevent carpal tunnel. The keys are easy to the touch and pleasant to the ears. The only downfall I could possibly see with other users is that the number pad is detached from the actual keyboard.

I've used a variety of Microsoft and Logitech ergo keyboards over the years and this one is a favorite. Using the stand to invert the keyboard position took a bit of time to get used to; but it does help. Feel of the keyboard is great. It's a bit more expensive than others but worth it.

Love the keyboard, however the mouse is extremely slow and hard to drive- in any surface....it just doesn't respond properly. I would like to think maybe I received a defective mouse? Unfortunately it is too late for me to return it.

I've used the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop for a couple years. This was my second purchase. I like the comfortable ergonomics and the wireless convenience. I would purchase it again. Now, having said that, I've found one drawback. The mouse will fail after a while (year +) of heavy use. That in-and-of-itself is not the drawback. The problem is that there is no way to replace the mouse in the set without replacing the entire set. Yes, you could get a separate mouse. But then you'd need two USB ports, one for the keyboard and another for the mouse. Microsoft: Can you make it so that the mouse can be replaced?

It is a really cool product but just need some time to get used to as the position of the keys are different from the conventional key board.

Nice Design & Compact But Rubber Material Wears

I've been using a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard since it was first introduced. This is my third or fourth variation of the original product. In terms of design and compactness this is the best one, but in terms of wear and tear, the material used for the cushioned palm rest and the soft rubberized material where your thumb and palm touch the mouse is already wearing off. The rubber on the mouse fall off in small pieces. I had a similar issue with other MS keyboards and mice, but it started after several years of use, and was hoping this experience would be different. I do like the keyboard and mouse, and ergonomically it is good, and why I give it 4 starts, but wish the material used was a bit more long lasting, since I started using this product in April 2019.

If you need an ergonomic setup, this is definitely worth considering. I have had an immediate and noticeable reduction in wrist and elbow stress with this setup. For me, the price was worth the improvement.

I need the ergonomics for my wrists, and this gives the perfect angle. It is also a bit more spread out so it is a better fit for my large hands. The separate 10 key took some getting used to, but I like the flexibility now that I am working on a smaller workstation.

Good ergonomic (easy on the hands) keyboard. They could have integrated the 10 key into the keyboard. My wife really likes the mouse. Says it is very comfortable to use despite the way it looks like it wouldn't be.

I'm on my third keyboard now. Two other people in my office have this keyboard and are on their second one. After a year or so Keys may start to malfunction. Doesn't respond or double clicks when you press it. When My first one broke I returned it for free replacement. When it broke again I just went out and bought another one. I'm going to stay with this keyboard because it has such a great feel and is ergonomically comfortable for extended typing.

The sculpt series keyboard and mouse are fantastic devices. I purchased it to be used with my laptop (Lenovo W540) which is often connected via docking station to my living room TV. The keyboard is light, feels fantastic (particularly the palm rest and keys), and its design is elegant. It is comfortable to rest on your lap even while playing games (World of Warcraft) or consuming media (YouTube, Hulu, Netflix) that is clunky on your SmartTV (or if the TV doesn't offer this feature set). The keyboard "lip" that can be used to raise the height of the palm rest is magnetically attached so no more breakage of the locking-tabs while removing/adding the attachment. Speaking of magnetic, the battery cover to the mouse is also magnetic reducing the potential to break a locking mechanism. It comes off easy and remains on. The magnetic battery cover can also be used to conceal the RF transmitter/receiver that is plugged into your device. Speaking of RF transmitter/receiver... if I had to complain about something, I would say I wish a version was sold that was Bluetooth capable so that I could ditch the RF dongle. This isn't a complaint as I read the requirements and knew full well what I was buying. It's more of a wish. You will NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE if you're needing ergo-portable with design sense.

I absolutely love this keyboard and mouse. I use it at work. When home order started and i had to start working from home, i was quick to purchase one for myself for home. It is worth every penny. I will continue to use even when this is all over for my own personal use.
