My second Sculpt keyboard set. Allows me to change up my finger placement at work compared to home. And the added bonus, it prevent others from using my works space.

I bought one keyboard for my work. 2 days later I bought the same keyboard for home. I hope that's enough of a review. Comfortable hand position while typing. Comfortable hand position navigating with the mouse. Extremely easy setup. What more could you ask for?

We purchased these for our office at work. We initially started with one and after the staff tried the keyboard we ordered more. We are pleased with ergonomic design and the ease of seton with product.

Key feel and typing position is great...

... but the F keys get stuck. As a programmer, it's not great when the F5 key gets stuck and spams my IDE when I run a build or execute a SQL query. I'm also not a huge fan of the del-home-end and arrow keys layout, but I think I will eventually get used to it. Other than that, the key action is great. I definitely feel like I'm typing faster with fewer errors. The typing position is pretty much perfect... the keyboard has a great wrist rest. In summary, the keyboard has room for improvement, but it's probably the best ergo keyboard on the market now at this price point.

Keyboard touch is very good, quite with excellent response time. As with most new things an adjustment period is needed. Mouse is very responsive but missing a forward button, only a back button.

I really love this keyboard and mouse. I had the larger wired version on my desk at work and while I appreciated the comfort and relief I got from it, it was so clunky and the cord was always in my way. This one gives me the same comfort typing all day, looks great, saves space, and the keys are much quieter. I’m hoping the battery life holds up as advertised. The mouse took some getting use to, but I’m finding that it’s much more comfortable than the standard mouse as well. Everything was packaged nicely too. Overall, this was a good investment!

    Microsoft's best ergonomic keyboard ever

I have long used Microsoft ergonomic keyboards starting back with the Natural Ergonomic Pro and for the last 10 years or so the Natural 4000. This Sculpt keyboard is by far my favorite so far. Finally having a wireless ergonomic keyboard is fantastic, and the modern keystroke on "chiclet" keys is really nice. The function keys could be a tad bigger and the rearrangment of the Home/End/PgUp/PgDn takes some getting used to. The other benefits far far far outweigh the learning curve there. Best of all, no carpal tunnel flareups. The mouse is a little wierd because of the angle it forces your hand. But again, once you get used to it it is way more comfortable than a regular mouses. I use a Logitech M570 trackball, but my wife likes the mouse just fine. Now, if Microsoft would reintroduce a wireless version of the Microsoft Trackball Optical everything would be perfect.

Great keyboard, but USB dongle can't be replaced

For a year I really loved this keyboard. It had great click action, the mouse was wonderful, and the extra number pad was perfect when you were doing lots of numbers. But then I lost the USB dongle. I had thought "I'll just have to buy a replacement dongle", but it turns out Microsoft doesn't offer anything like that. Their advice is just buy a new keyboard combo. And there's just something about losing a $5 dongle leading me to throw away otherwise perfect electronics that breaks my heart. I loved this keyboard and mouse. But I can't realistically expect that I'll never lose the dongle again (especially for this awkward dongle that's too big to leave plugged in). So I won't be buying this again.

Love It - My Second One

This is my second one. My first one lasted at least 3 years. The only things that I don't care for on my new one vs my old one are: - the space bar is loud. It's more of a knock than a click - They moved the volume keys to the right side and I'm having a heck of a time retraining myself. Having a separate numeric keypad is just weird. Yes, you get a smaller keyboard, but having to actually reach over to the keypad or find it is kind of annoying, so I rarely use it. I do love the mouse, though. I have had repetitive strain in my right hand for over 20 years, due to decades of computer use. This mouse has really cut down on my discomfort. If you've never used an ergo keyboard, it will take you a little while to get used to it, but once you do, you'll never go back to a traditional keyboard.

I have used this keyboard for a month now. I feel this keyboard is worth the money. It puts my hands in comfortable position. It helps my situation with tendonitis. I think an ergo keyboard is must for anyone whose work involves a lot of typing.
