Excellent specially after practice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice and comfortable keyboard. I had to practice with a typing program to get used to it at first, but after that, it was great. Same goes for the mouse. after a couple of days, it feels very comfortable. The only issue is the esc and function keys. They are not the same quality as the rest. Also, the "fn" key is kind of annoying. But for me, these are not deal breaker.

Excellent but different
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my job I type about 40-hours a week, this keyboard was very easy to get used to. My wrists have less pain now since using this keyboard. The keys are light to press and do not make your fingers work harder than needed to. The separate 10-key is a little strange but that it self is easy to adjust too as well. One thing I wish it had more of is programmable keys but for the comfort was I willing to over look that. Overall, very nice and good value for the price.

Keyboard great, mouse not so much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard is excellent, has a great typing feel, the curve is easy to get used to, and has gone a long way towards alleviating my carpal tunnel syndrome. The wireless number pad is a great bonus. However, the football-shaped mouse is cumbersome to hold and it hurts my hand to use it. It might work for some people but I do not recommend it. I wish that the keyboard and mouse had separate receivers, but they all work on the same one and you can't, say, give the mouse to a coworker because it's tied to that one receiver, so right now the mouse is a $40 paperweight. I wish I had purchased both the keyboard and mouse separately so I could return the mouse. But the keyboard is excellent.

Great, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable and efficient with the three individualized pieces. However the number pad numbers have lost their reactivity after three years.

Very good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is very comfortable and well worth the money though I prefer a ball to a mouse but nobody makes wireless ergonomic keyboards with the ball. MY one complaint is that unlike the wireless mouse, the keyboard does not have an off button. In order to do so yo must remove the batteries or replace them regularly as one reviewer noted.

Finally a light weight, Ergo portable keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this set while it was onsale at Best Buy and my impressions compared to the older MS keyboard is WOW. They made huge improvements on this model. It's light weight , portable , ergo split design , has the extended height base attachment which attaches magnetically. It took me a few hours of typing to get use to the setup and it's saving me alot of pain on my wrist so far which tells me this is working. I have no used the mouse yet so I can't review that because i'm also a gamer and I need a corded mouse for fps response. The keyboard keeps up fine with gaming as long as your receiver is within 5 ft otherwise you will see some slight lag. If your looking for a stylish ergo keyboard , this is it. You will not be disappointed with this model. I've been a logitech , corsair keyboard fan boy for a long time and I must say Microsoft has finally impressed me and came out with a good solid product for it's consumers.

Great if you don't lose or break the USB dongle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't buy this at BestBuy (got it from work), but I just wanted to say that I had the same experience as some other reviewers where my keyboard/mice became useless when the USB dongle broke. So, while I love this keyboard/mice combo for being ergonomic (I spend all day in front of the computer), I can't see myself buying a new combo and throwing away perfectly useful keyboards/mice every time I lose/break the USB dongle. Great if you're still covered by the warranty, since Microsoft will replace the items after you send them back the non-functioning ones, otherwise, you're out of luck.

Excellent Keyboard, Terrible MS Warranty Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the keyboard and mouse, helped my wrist tremendously. Getting hardware support from Microsoft is impossible. If either the keyboard, keypad, mouse, or receiver goes bad you have to replace the entire expensive setup.

Repeated key strikes necessary to "wake up"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 2 of these keyboards at once--one for home and one for the office. Will not purchase again. PROS: Great look and feel. Physically, feels good while typing. CONS: *After the keyboards has been rested, it takes repeated key strikes to "wake it up," for the keyboards to start typing. I am sure that this designed to save battery, but very frustrating! The 10 key also needs needs repeated key strikes (those batteries are special and need replacing every 4 months with regular use) *The "H" Key is often sticky on both keyboards if not stuck in the the middle the key--it gets caught on the way down as its pressed--it always comes back up. I would personally, like the 10 key pad joined to the keyboard--magnetic to the keyboard would be a nice option, as it tends to move around when used frequently.

Great - when it works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable keyboard, bought this specifically because the keypad was detached which allows for less movement of my bad arm/shoulder between keyboard and mouse. Keys are quiet and easy to press. However, 5 months later the wireless receiver broke which rendered keyboard, number pad, and mouse useless. The receiver can't be replaced, you have to replace the whole set. Box says 3 year warranty but Best Buy wouldn't honor it, even with my Geek Squad coverage. Called Microsoft directly, they said the warranty didn't cover the receiver (even though the box clearly states that all hardware is covered for 3 years), but that they would give me a one-time exemption and they would replace the unit after I mailed the broken one back at my own expense with original proof of purchase. I mailed it back and received the replacement in about a week. Lesson learned - do not touch the wireless receiver and if you need to move the laptop at all, then remove the receiver before your move the laptop. Great keyboard outside of this incident.

So far, so good!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the ergonomic design of the keyboard. I wish they would have had a bundle without the mouse though. I do prefer to use my arc touch mouse instead of this one, but I find that it's still a great buy. I also enjoy using the additional number pad. I think it might be just a touch overpriced, but made the investment to make my work from home more efficient.

Great keyboard, almost exactly what I wanted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the wired version of this keyboard for nearly 10 years, and it's the only keyboard style I'm interested in using. When I bought myself a sit/stand desk, I needed to upgrade to a wireless keyboard. Almost no other ergo keyboards on the market have this design. I NEED a split keyboard o avoid wrist pain. The plug and play lightweight design is comfortable and sleek. The magnetic battery cover and reverse tilt attachment are super clever. It never loses connection. It's not a battery hog; I've been using it for several months and still on the same batteries. My ONLY complaint is the detached 10-key. Getting that in the right place to allow for quick transition between it and the rest of the keyboard is a real pain since I'm regularly moving the keyboard to and from my sit/stand desk and office desk keyboard tray.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Wireless USB Keyboard and Mouse. We’re excited to hear you’ve been enjoying the wireless functionality and support with your sit/stand desk at work. We really appreciate the feedback you left about the detached 10-key and will be passing it along to the team. Thank you again for being part of the Microsoft family.

Does Not Last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eventually the device just stops working. Mouse won't left click. Keyboard totally shut down and not responsive, even after switching batteries. Buyer beware. Internal timer that says time to buy a new one???

QWERTY hardware at its reasonably-priced best!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very well-made keyboard: sleek, light, and all-around very pleasant to utilize on a day-to-day basis as the key-click, in particular, is sensitive-responsive, again, smartly-so.

Nice look/feel, poor performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I begin by saying it is entirely possible given the consensus that I have a lemon...however. I have had the keyboard/mouse now for just over 2 months and have had to change the AAA batteries out of the keyboard 4 times. The issue I have now is that the laptop doesn't even recognize it and will lock if I unplug it and plug into another port. I've also had no luck using the combo on other machines so I'm convinced the combo is toast. The look/feel for both is great and if you don't have a lemon it's definitely an upgrade from the standard combo's you find. BUT if you're like me it'll take a fortune in AAA's to keep it powered and then one day it will ultimately fail, most likely just after the return period which has been my case. Although I love MS products, I would steer clear of this one.
