However, there is a connectivity delay that causes starts & stops. Yes, I've changed the battery (2x), tried various USB ports direct & through a USB hub. I even tried it on different computers. Same stutter.

I was drawn in by the low sale price of this Microsoft Mouse, but the appeal did not last for long. Less than a week after purchase, I returned the mouse, spent an additional $7, and bought a Logitech wireless mouse. Much happier now!

Turned it off, and put it away with the laptop in the carrying case. About 4 weeks later I need the laptop. Fired it up, and the mouse was dead. Change the battery, and it's still dead. It died in while turned off! I'm pleased with Best Buy, they replaced it for me even though it was more than 30 days since I purchased it. If they hadn't done that, I would have just thrown it away. I dealt with Microsoft Customer (Lack Of) Support in the past, it was the single most frustrating and difficult warranty experience in my life. It literally took 3 hours and phone calls, waiting on transfers, getting looped around endlessly, cut off, dead ends, just to get to the point of being able to talk to a person who could address the problem. That is NO exaggeration! If you think I'm kidding, go to Microsofts online customer support sight, and try to find a phone number to call to get a warranty replacement for a mouse.
