    It charged the device as it should. The sales person insured by checking the specs and then took it a step further to take it out the box to ensure it would charge since I have the device with me.

    It's fine but expensive and wasteful. Not to be a hippie, but if surface designed their plugs a bit better, I wouldn't have had to buy this thing and have my old one end up in a land fill like where this one will be in a year from now.

    I lost my last charger that came when my Surface Pro 7 so had to buy. It’s hard to get this to stay attached to my computer and charge it like to one that came with it but if I hold it for a few minutes it stays.
