    I like to have an extra charger. Originally, I got this for traveling because it is much smaller. Since the pandemic I've been working at home and it is nice to have an extra on a different floor. One user noted the lack of a USB port like the original. The other issue is that it does not charge as fast. But it is lot less expensive.

    The device is good and filled the purpose but the clerks were ignorant of te the product, store policies and general customer service.

    I have had 3 Microsoft power cords for the Surface. They work for 1 - 3 months then fritter out. This 3rd party unit is less than half price and has been going strong. Fewer parts might be the reason.
