Surface Pro Charger, same as the one that came with my computer. I left mine at home and needed one while traveling.

It is not the same one as the one that came with the laptop, but is a Microsoft product. This works fine for my Microsoft Surface 2 book. It is good quality unlike a cheap knockoff one that I bought from Amazon and quickly returned.

I have always purchased my electronics from Best Buy and this charger has been the best I have purchased. The factory ones have failed on my and at times they do not function if the laptop is going for an update. This charger keeps charging regardless.

This official charger is over priced and I can get a non brand name charger for less but It was available in one day when I forgot mine while out of town. Overall nice charger, high price point, gets very hot after long usage and the cable is short but hey it works.

My go to for anything electronic or digital is Best Buy and when I needed a new power supply for my Surface laptop, of course Best Buy had the correct Microsoft PS. A quality part for my laptop from a quality retailer.

It may be that I use it too often, meaning that it's plugged in most of the day, and don't let my battery drain. Seems like I go through one about every 6-8 months - it just stops working. Shame on me for not researching to see if I am not using it efficiently and I am wearing it out. I work from home, so my Surface Book 2 really gets a workout. Plus I use it to watch network TV channels. I love my laptop though!

I purchase an surface pro 4 i7 512gb with an extended 2 year warranty. My charger stop charging the device after only 3 months. I took the device to bestbuy geek squad and was told the charger is no good. I thought with me having a full warranty on the item I would get a new charger on the spot. Wrong! They had to order one from Microsoft and mail it to me. I asked what am I to do in the mean time and why can't I just take one from the store. Guy said that's not allowed and it has to come from Microsoft. He said to purchase a new one for almost $90 and return it in 14days when the other one comes in so I can get my money back. Day 14 still no charger. I go back to Best Buy ask for a manager and told him what happened he apologized went and grabbed a charger off the shelf gave it to me and refunded the money back to my card. I had a very annoying experience with bestbuy and don't know why they couldn't have just given me a new charger on the spot from the start. I am just lucky the manager was nice and fixed the issue very proffessionally. New charger hasn't had a problem at all.
