It may be that I use it too often, meaning that it's plugged in most of the day, and don't let my battery drain. Seems like I go through one about every 6-8 months - it just stops working. Shame on me for not researching to see if I am not using it efficiently and I am wearing it out. I work from home, so my Surface Book 2 really gets a workout. Plus I use it to watch network TV channels. I love my laptop though!

My original charger stopped working after 2 years and very light usage so I replaced it with this, but it’s too expensive. Hopefully it doesn’t stop working like the original one.

The cord is working perfectly. The cord is replacing the Microsoft store cord a couple of years ago. The Microsoft store cord was replacing a cord under warranty. Hopefully the Best Buy cord will last longer than 2 years.

Happy with this Charger. Works as advertised, and very happy with it.

After my last laptop charger stopped working, I went to the store to buy a new one. I love the magnetic plug and it is easy to tell when it is charging.

Glad I brought my Microsoft laptop to the store so the Agent was able to check the model of my surface laptop. Everything worked.

I purchase an surface pro 4 i7 512gb with an extended 2 year warranty. My charger stop charging the device after only 3 months. I took the device to bestbuy geek squad and was told the charger is no good. I thought with me having a full warranty on the item I would get a new charger on the spot. Wrong! They had to order one from Microsoft and mail it to me. I asked what am I to do in the mean time and why can't I just take one from the store. Guy said that's not allowed and it has to come from Microsoft. He said to purchase a new one for almost $90 and return it in 14days when the other one comes in so I can get my money back. Day 14 still no charger. I go back to Best Buy ask for a manager and told him what happened he apologized went and grabbed a charger off the shelf gave it to me and refunded the money back to my card. I had a very annoying experience with bestbuy and don't know why they couldn't have just given me a new charger on the spot from the start. I am just lucky the manager was nice and fixed the issue very proffessionally. New charger hasn't had a problem at all.

The Surface I bought is able to everything I need it to do and then some. The service at the Spring Meadows Best Buy went above and beyond when I had to return one computer because of incompatibility issues for my work web site, then was able to get me set up completely within one day. Congrats on a great team!

Really good product, the last one my cat chew through abs had to get a new one and this one I think it’s anti cat chewing, because she doesn’t go near it. The GUY that help us at the store was super nice and very efficient.

Works great expensive but I needed it for work and I bought a car outlet charger also

I use this as my powers source on the go. No more forgetting your power source or wondering where it got left. This one stays in my business bag while the original stays at home on the desk. This is an OEM power source, same quality as I would expect.

It works, they had it in stock and they knew what I needed.

Works great. Provides enough power for my surface pro. nice and small, lightweight.

It's a good product, and happy that I was able to get the product. I needed my laptop to work , it how I do my job. But it cost too much, When I went on amazon it was only 30 bucks when I spent 89 bucks for it on best buy.
