    The item in question is far too expensive for what it is, and they don't last more than a year. The wires inside become brittle from use, and short out. This is my 4th in 4 years. I will NOT be purchasing Microsoft in my next go around for computers.

    This charger works more quickly than the charger that comes with the standard Surface - however the cost is a little much for just a "charger". one good thing about this - is you can charge other USB devices - while your surface is charging.... the speed is not great - but it does provide a charge - if outlet space is limited

    We use these on our surface pro. I have three of them. One I leave at home, one I have at the office and one I have for traveling so I always have an adapter no matter where my Surface Pro is.
