Works very well and fucntions propertly with my surface laptop

One difference from the original charger that came with my surface pro 3 is the placement of the transformer in relation to the overall length. Overall length is the same but the cord from wall to transformer is longer and the cord from transformer to surface is shorter.

Surface Pro charges are great. Very easy to use. The Best Buy associate was extremely helpful.

This replacement wall charger works fine. The original failed after 15 months. Unknown how long this replacement charger will last.

Had to replace my cord for Surface Pro. Glad it was available.

I left my charger in a different city and needed to pick up a new one as I use my Surface Pro 4 daily, and I had no issues with this charger. It is charging my PC at this moment.

Had to replace my surface pro charger due to manufacturer defect. This replacement is better than the original. Charges alot faster

So we tried buying a much less expensive off-brand at WalMart and it did not live up to expectations. Quality over price on this one definitely!

My Surface Pro 4 was not charging anymore. I looked to see what my options were online for a new charger. Did not like the comments: some were advertised as being Microsoft but were not, many did not work right or for long. I decided to go to Best Buy to find out if my problem was my charger or my tablet. They tried a new Microsoft charger and it worked! So I bought it right then. It was pricey but I am sure it is a Microsoft and it will serve me for a long time.

Costs more than generics, but this oem should have better quality control (crosses fingers) and not have you worry if it will burn your house down.

I purchased this cord as a replacement. It worked perfectly fine and I was able to utilize curbside pickup with ease!
