    I needed an extra power supply for my surface. Since its a Microsoft product, it fits the surface perfectly. Wish you could get different lengths, but that's my only quibble about this product.

    I bought an aftermarket cord and it got extremely hot, hot enough I couldn't touch it for long. I'll only purchase Microsoft brand.

    Needed to replace the original euipment as the cable got pinched and pulled away from the unit. User error!! a bit pricey but it works

    The charger is excellent in terms of quality and reliability. My biggest gripe with it is the length of the chord. It's quite short and doesn't always help when you need to reach an outlet.

    Charges quickly and holds a charge. I like that it is magnetic so if it is pulled, it won't ruin the charging port.
