    My IT person ordered a generic charger for my Surface. It worked for about a month. Best Buy Personnel were fantastic. They charged my Surface as I waited while they ordered the proper charger. I had it sent FedEx the next day and my Surface is charged and ready all the time!

    I purchased a second power source because I like being able to pack all my power cords and adapters ahead of my actual travel. This works as it is supposed to, but I marked it down primarily for two reasons: (1) the price, and (2) the fact that as much as I like the magnetic connection, I would have preferred it if I could charge this item with any power source that uses a micro-USB connection...fewer power cords and adapters to travel with.
